Nothing much. I would only say that this is a resort which takes a while to get to as it is out in the sticks. But I would certainly stay there again.

Size of the one-bedroom apartment. Massive is an understatement. Huge kitchen, lounge and diner, up the stairs to the large bedroom suite. Close access to the main building, pool and car parking. Gorgeous surroundings, view and peace and quiet.

The studio apartment was lovely. So surprised a refurbishment was taking place as we left as not felt needed. No tea towels. Liked the idea of a shoe box but strange no mat inside the door especially as replacing lovely wooden floor with carpet. The pool should be open earlier and stay open later. Would be good to have more channels on Tv.

Pianist on Friday evening was very good, had not seen him advertised in the Hall, was told by staff he would be playing. Pool good and good restaurant food.

The room could have benefited from a user guide for the TV and microwave which I worked out in the end.

A great place to stay for business or pleasure. The room was immaculate and had everything I needed. My apartment was a short walk from the main hotel. Sadly this put me off using the bar for very long as I did not want to find my way back to the apartment in the dark of the countryside.

The opening times for the leisure facilities meant we couldn’t use them. We were up whilst studying at the University for the week; but we couldn’t use the gym or pool before or after lectures as we were in 9-5. An early morning gym session or swim in the evening would’ve made it much better.

The location; the apartment was perfect, everything we could need was catered for.

Location is lovely, has a playground for kids, which I was not been aware when I made the reservation. From one of the car park(which is free), you have access to a countryside footh path, beautiful landscape. Food was lovely too. Definitely will return soon.

Our stay wasn't long enough.

We went with family for my husbands 70th birthday.The staff were fantastic. Sophie on reception gave us a really warm welcome. Both apartments were brilliant and ,spotlessly clean. The Lemon Tree restaurant was lovely,and the staff made my husbands birthday very special.The food was fantastic. It was our first visit to Thurnham Hall, but we will definitely be going back ,and we will recommend it to all our friends .Thankyou to all the staff for making our visit a very special one.

Path ways were a little uneven those with mobility issues may have struggled. Perhaps hand rails on the two steps at the archway as deep and uneven. Possible evening adult swim.

One of the main reasons I booked Thurnham hall was the gym and pool.. however, both are open 9am to 6pm. 9am is too late, by the time you've worked out and had a shower it would be 11ish.. not great!

The bed was VERY comfortable. The pull out sofa bed was very easy to use but not that comfy said my husband.... probably would stretch to the 2 bed next time because the stay was so wonderful I wouldn't quibble about paying the little extra!!

Everything! We drove up and the setting was beautiful. The accommodation was spacious and bright. The TVs are a good size. We have a 3year old and 1 year old. Having the space to let them run about and play in the park was lovely. They loved spotting the ducks, squirrels and seeing the fish in the pond. The restaurant was delicious! I loved the lobby area, the little shop on site was really handy. The staff were all LOVELY!!
