The room could have benefited from a user guide for the TV and microwave which I worked out in the end.

A great place to stay for business or pleasure. The room was immaculate and had everything I needed. My apartment was a short walk from the main hotel. Sadly this put me off using the bar for very long as I did not want to find my way back to the apartment in the dark of the countryside.

The opening times for the leisure facilities meant we couldn’t use them. We were up whilst studying at the University for the week; but we couldn’t use the gym or pool before or after lectures as we were in 9-5. An early morning gym session or swim in the evening would’ve made it much better.

The location; the apartment was perfect, everything we could need was catered for.

Location is lovely, has a playground for kids, which I was not been aware when I made the reservation. From one of the car park(which is free), you have access to a countryside footh path, beautiful landscape. Food was lovely too. Definitely will return soon.

Our stay wasn't long enough.

We went with family for my husbands 70th birthday.The staff were fantastic. Sophie on reception gave us a really warm welcome. Both apartments were brilliant and ,spotlessly clean. The Lemon Tree restaurant was lovely,and the staff made my husbands birthday very special.The food was fantastic. It was our first visit to Thurnham Hall, but we will definitely be going back ,and we will recommend it to all our friends .Thankyou to all the staff for making our visit a very special one.

Path ways were a little uneven those with mobility issues may have struggled. Perhaps hand rails on the two steps at the archway as deep and uneven. Possible evening adult swim.

One of the main reasons I booked Thurnham hall was the gym and pool.. however, both are open 9am to 6pm. 9am is too late, by the time you've worked out and had a shower it would be 11ish.. not great!

The bed was VERY comfortable. The pull out sofa bed was very easy to use but not that comfy said my husband.... probably would stretch to the 2 bed next time because the stay was so wonderful I wouldn't quibble about paying the little extra!!

Everything! We drove up and the setting was beautiful. The accommodation was spacious and bright. The TVs are a good size. We have a 3year old and 1 year old. Having the space to let them run about and play in the park was lovely. They loved spotting the ducks, squirrels and seeing the fish in the pond. The restaurant was delicious! I loved the lobby area, the little shop on site was really handy. The staff were all LOVELY!!

Only criticism... settee and chairs need updating and did sleep once on a bed settee and not comfortable.

Found Thurnham years ago by accident. Retreat at Ellel Grange and now use Thurnham as my retreat. Visited regularly pre Covid, alone or with friend. Hoping again to come 2 / 3 times yearly. Stayed this time in Appt. 1 Great Hall and loved it.

The apartment we were in was above the boiler room and I found the noise disturbed my sleep. My friend said it didn’t bother her but it made the bedroom hot.

The two bedroom apartment was large & comfortable. Good standard. Beautiful grounds. Enjoyed the swimming pool. Staff friendly and helpful.

The location was excellent i checked reviews b4 going there but I still booked it but the place and staff were excellent 10 out of 10 helpfully staff all at the Thurnhall great leisure centre great staff there too clean place thanku very much to thurnhall staff u guys done tremendous job 10points will be booking again good for price too everything exact in pictures beautiful setup all equipment clean and working order cant fault anything hope to see u guys again

Having to leave to come home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily move in. Midweek was peaceful, however the apartments are not soundproof so come Friday evening others commencing their stay were not always as considerate as they could have been, playing music loudly until 2am. This is no fault of Thurnham Hall, but for those staying, please be mindful of others.

Absolutely stunning and relaxing grounds. Immaculately clean apartment with most items that we needed during our stay. Staff were incredibly helpful and polite, making our stay extra special. Evening entertainment was on offer, and the spa facilities were enjoyable. A big thanks to Lucy who helped with a number of questions we had and assisted with without hesitation.
