Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomStaff were super friendly. Building was very interesting to learn about. Very clean. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, catered well for gluten free allergy. Although breakfast is a bit pricey, it is an all you can eat buffet style (unless gluten free, and the hot food is made fresh for you) and the quality of the food was exceptional.

United KingdomThe bedrooms air on very hard to regulate to get heat as it was a very cold few days in Belfast . When we had the temperature right and left the room it went off so we came back to a very cold bedroom at night

United StatesThe lighting could be better- it was very dark in the room and the hallway. Bathroom was very bare and could use a few more hooks or shelves. Bar menu could have a few more vegetarian options. Overall fabulous will stay again and recommend!
Beautiful hotel, loved the careful and thoughtful restoration, the free tour of the property was great. Staff (and everyone we met in Northern Ireland!) couldnt have been nicer. The room was beautiful and huge. Great location in the Titanic Quarter, and an easy taxi ride into the city center. The food was all delicious.

United KingdomAbsolutely gorgeous hotel, staff are so helpful and the decor is the nicest I’ve seen in Belfast. Breakfast was lovely and was available until 10.30, great if you want a lie in. The view from our bedroom was stunning of the titanic museum: can’t wait to come back!

United KingdomA bit noisy during the night, seemed to be the heating or AC systems. A lot of external traffic noise, though I think that was due to the room location, as I've stayed here several times and never had that issue before.
Welcoming and quick check in and check out. All staff encountered were friendly and professional. Very comfortable room, beds were extremely comfortable, with twin beds provided as requested. Tea/coffee facilities, bottled water, TV, WIFI, iron and board, robes and slippers, toiletries all provided.

United KingdomMaybe it was just our room - but with its very high ceiling it was a little cold and very little natural daylight so was quite dark.
Check in Staff was excellent / and the concierge /porter when we were leaving early the next morning for the airport. The hotel is beautifully decorated and anyone who enjoys the history of the titanic is in for a treat. main bar area was lively and the cocktails were delicious.

United KingdomThe hotel food was fine, but that's all it was. There are much better options within Belfast. The evening hospitality staff felt like they could do with some training for the job. There was very little conversation with customers, no prompting questions such as "how would you like your steak?", and despite not being busy it took almost 20 minutes for a single drink order to arrive. Overall, I'd recommend staying here for the history of the building alone but I'd be dining elsewhere.
Staying in the hotel itself is a wonderful experience, it feels like staying in a museum as there is so much history around you. The hotel have done a wonderful job re-creating rooms and placing historical facts everywhere.

United KingdomDining options were quite average quality. Quantities of uncleared dining and glassware due to understaffing let the beautiful bar area down and again at breakfast, which overall created a bit of a canteen vibe which was a shame.

IrelandWalking through parts of the hotel especially the staircase was like walking on Titanic herself. The staff were friendly, welcoming and gave me a front room facing Titanic which I had requested. The food was top notch and so was the gin. I will be visiting again 👍😁

United KingdomOnly thing was no notepad or pens in the room but that is just being picky I suppose.
The whole experience from start to finish was a delight. From reception staff through to waiting staff and definitely the housekeeping staff. All great and gave us a wonderful experience. Beds were the most comfortable we've slept in, in all the hotels we've stayed in. We ate and drank in hotel both nights. Very pleasant staff in restaurants and bars as well. There was nothing we could fault about the place.

United KingdomThe only thing I can think of other than the fact I don’t like that I didn’t book to stay longer is that we ordered at least 3 cocktails that the bar didn’t have ingredients for. It was only slightly disappointing though as the cocktails we did have were amazing!
Things I loved: - The staff! They had had a wedding event on earlier that day and we bumped into manager (I assume) Gail who happily showed us around and told us some of the history of the beautiful hotel. My aunt and uncle were with us and they’re from NI and absolutely loved learning about everything. She saw my cousin and I later on and said hello again and gave me a hug. I absolutely loved her (and asked permission for the hug). My aunt raved about her too. After we checked out, the amazing staff kept our luggage and booked a taxi for us to the airport which was there when we got back after going for a wander in town before our flight. - The room. Our hotel room had a view of the Titanic visitor centre from the window and I genuinely felt like a million pounds getting to wake up to that view. When the sun shone, it was magical. - The breakfast. We only had breakfast on our final morning but it was all well presented and easy to get. We had coffees brought to us quickly and the food was delicious. - The bathroom. Our en-suite was gorgeous! The tiles and the waterfall showerhead (I think that’s what it’s called) were amazing and the water pressure was perfect. - The decor. The nods to the shipbuilding that happened mere feet away from the hotel were lovely. The rivet style touches on the doors were beautiful. - The extra touches! We had water, tea, coffee and biscuits in our room each day. The water was amazing for me and I drank both bottles I was given when I got in (probably saved me from a hangover from the lovely cocktails). We also had robes and I wore the slippers (only one of us got slippers but we weren’t fussed) while we were at the hotel! - The bar! The cocktails had fun names and were absolutely delicious!
