Loud music from a bar under the property :(, I’m glad we didn’t have a room on the ground floor otherwise it would of been even worse for us trying to sleep Suggestion: small fridge.

beautiful house, the rooms are amazing. Very clean and spacious. Parking isn’t too far and the restaurant next door is so delicious. Great hotel to revisit (minus the loud music) very high quality

Great location, very well presented and comfortable. The decor and furnishings were a very high standard, beautiful bathroom with a comfy bed. Tea and coffee was provided, the car park was a two minute walk away. Would highly recommend.

The process for entering was a tad difficult. Would strongly recommend a video being made or a PDF with clear instructions on how to access. As well as the code being made more accessible as booking/Gmail seemed to not display it well and caused issues.

The place was incredibly nice and much better than other local hotels that my colleagues have visited. Strongly recommended it to them and the company.

Exceptionally clean, don’t think I have ever stayed in such a clean hotel. Bathroom appeared as though no one had ever stayed there. Comfy bed, luxurious! Great tea / coffee selection. Breakfast at nearby cafe was superb!!

Check out time. We left on Sunday morning. You had to check out at 10am but breakfast was served in the local cafe at 9.30 so you weren't able to use the bathroom afterwards.

Easy self check was quick and convenient. Instructions were clear - sent before hand via message on booking platform. Beautifully renovated historic property. Quality fixtures and fittings. Gorgeous bathroom, extremely comfortable bed. Lovely breakfast provided by local business. Parking paid for very close by. Amazingly friendly and seamless from start to finish considering there was no interaction with anyone in person

Check in was a little tricky as my mobile was not receiving messages and I couldn't access emails. Car parking details were a bit sketchy in the first instance but all was sorted very quickly after a phone call.

The breakfast was excellent just yards from the hotel and staff were very considerate and accommodating to our needs !! The room was really lovely and comfortable with modern interior design. The high ceiling with exposed truss really gives a spacious and airy feel enquire a haven !

Fantastic design, modern, chic and very very clean and fresh! Location is brilliant, parking included which is very close by. Check your booking.com messages for the instructions to get into the building and breakfast locations (which are fabulous)! My email didn’t come through but was in the booking.com mailbox and Amy was very helpful and available on the phone. Thanks Amy and Joshua for a lovely stay!

Everything was fine,parking was easy to find and close to hotel and access to hotel and room was simple 🙂

The room was lovely and the bed very comfortable,we waited about half hour for Our breakfast the bacon was over cooked but everything else was good.

Only negative, was that is was loud and we could hear outside and other guests in the room above us. However, this wouldn’t put us off staying again as everything else was perfect.

This is a gem of a place. Right in the centre of Cockermouth. Rooms are spotless and exceptionally well decorated. Bed was comfortable and the accommodation had everything I needed for my stay.
