Loved everything about this lovely hotel, beautiful room, all the usual facility’s you’d expect in a superior king room. Breakfast in the cafe 2 mins walk away was supurb, will defiantly book again

Everything! The self check in is a fab idea and worked really well. The room had absolutely everything you could think of…iron, ironing board, Netflix, hairdryer, wine glasses, corkscrew. Original features with modern decor, spotlessly clean couldn’t fault the place will definitely be back

The room could have done with a mini fridge and information of places to eat in the area. Cockermouth is poor for dining out.

We liked the size of our room, the decor, the bathroom and it was exceptionally clean. The bed was very comfy and spacious.

The Tithe Barn Hotel is a fabulous place to stay, the rooms are luxurious & very spacious that have ample storage for your clothes, a super sized bed that gets a 10 out 10 for size & comfort. Bathroom is also very spacious & well presented and have to add the whole room was spotlessly clean on arrival & serviced during our stay. Location is perfect for going in to town during the evening, also within a stones throw of local shops & eating establishments. Perfect too for exploring the north west area of The Lake District & beyond. Parking is nearby, secure & easy. Breakfast was served at the Veeva café next door but one which serves a very good selection of freshly prepared food options to get you off to a really good start to the day with great service.

Can’t fault the place at all..

We loved everything about the place as soon as we walked in, we felt so comfortable and happy. By far the most beautiful room we have ever stayed in. Great ideas of decoration and me being a joiner could see that work had been carry out with a great level of finesse 🤩.. amazing job, we’ll done 👏🏼

The cafe is nice for breakfast but when we went on Sunday morning it was very busy and we had to wait about half an hour for a table. Perhaps there could be some kind of booking system for hotel residents?

The room was lovely and the location very good. The keypad thing works very well but I wished I'd paid more attention to the instructions before we arrived!

Having to go home

Beautiful building,large bedroom and en suite bathroom.Everywhere was spotless and it had a welcoming feel as you walked in the grand hallway.Breakfast and staff were great and the very short walk was not a problem. Liked the fact that hotel residents could go in 30 mins before opening to the public.Parking was close by and included in the price.

Lovely hotel. Breakfast was excellent and Staff very friendly and work really hard. They seemed to be a good team. Location just next to hotel. Parking was great too. Meant we always had a space to park when we returned after being out for the day. Next time I would book floor below as they're were quite a lot of stairs.

Could do with blinds in the central window so you do t have to draw the curtains for privacy.

Breakfast could have been earlier on the Sunday morning as it was served at 9.30am and we had to depart at 10am.

The decor was stunning. The room and communal areas were very clean and tidy. Very comfy bed and very organised with parking and room access.

A small fridge if you’re staying longer. Again a larger chair for those staying longer.

This is a self-check-in hotel so we did not actually meet any staff. The code for the front door and our rooms were shared via email prior to our arrival and the system worked flawlessly. The hotel was beautifully decorated and I was impressed with the artistic details. This is an immaculate hotel! The parking was seamless in a nearby public carpark and, as we were leaving, a friendly lady connected with the hotel chatted with us as we prepared to leave.

Noisy neighbour above us but staff sorted it out for us and we could hear some music from the bar next door but it went off pretty early

No iron / ironing board. No bath. No bottled water in superior room. No dressing area or chair to get ready (room 4). Lack of contact from staff.

Breakfast was good. Room very clean however we were unable to get it cleaned on second day as we were getting ready for a wedding and cleaner finished before we left. Location good. Parking good.

The inside and out of the property was beautiful, everything about it was amazing, and spotless inside, bathroom and shower facilities were really good too. All and all a Amazing place to stay.
