Could not turn off heating on towel rail in bathroom on constantly. As we had already said we have a 3 year starting there was no safety catch on front window with the heating from the bathroom was a dangerous..

The cleanliness could've been better. Upon arrival we had to get rid of around 15 spiders around the whole apartment. During the stay, there were further spiders surprising us. The general cleanliness around the apartment was good, but it would've been nice to arrive to a spider free zone.

The instructions were incredibly clear regarding how to access the lock box to retrieve the keys. Sharon was incredibly helpful when we initially couldn't find the location.

Breakfast on second morning was exceptional. Linen and towels were of high quality. The apartment was cleaned to a high standard. Perfect for short break.

Nothing major, if I was to be picky it would just be that the headboard of the bed was loose so it would bang really easily- nothing a cushion or pillow behind can’t fix.

I enjoyed my/our, 2nd stay here. It’s a light, modern flat and rather cosy. It’s close to town and the bus station, although it did get a little noisy at times which is understandable. Since it’s close to the registry office, you’ll get to see the odd fancy wedding car if you’re lucky. The bed is comfy and the sofa bed is easy to use- we like to be in bed watching the tv. It has a nice bath so I make sure I pack my bubble bath now!

1. The most convoluted check in procedure I have ever experienced! I’m driving up and down the street looking for the address because it is not reflected in Google Maps. They literally sent me a message to go to the back of the building (what?) and unlock a fence and then look on the wall for a lockbox to get my key. What?? They couldn’t even be bothered to meet me and show me the unit. 2. I needed to move back my check in date. Five times I asked. At first I thought we were working through a lot of details and they just missed it. Eventually they said “oh you are within the two week period and the reservation cannot be changed. I will see if booking.com will allow us to change it but I doubt it” That is disingenuous because a website does not run your business. Initially I though they were inflexible one they got your money. Now, based on other experiences I have had with them like the misleading and fraudulent advertising, now I believe they purposely ignored the first few times I asked about pushing my arrival date back so I could be within the 2 week nonrefundable period. Because i would have changed my accommodations if they answered when I first asked and legally they would have had to refund my money. Buyer beware with these people. 3. Online they said parking is a one minute walk. Not true at all. Parking is SO DIFFICULT. I immediately regretted staying here when I realized how difficult the parking situation was. At the closest lot you can park for no more that 4 hours so you’re constantly running back and forth to move the car and feed the meter. I would have been better off at the Marriott, the Holiday Inn or the Old Bridge, all of which are reputable, nearby and have free parking. The sign at the nearest parking lot does not confirm that you can park there overnight. I did once and when I showed up the next morning I had a ticket and my car was the only car in this huge deserted lot. I’m lucky it was not stolen.

Additional Problems: 4. Dave gave me access to the unit at 7:30am. When I saw the business about going behind the building I went at lunch. I was not familiar with the area and didn’t want to do this after work. Dave became belligerent and disrespectful. “I can’t believe you are in there! What is someone was there!” (Why would you give me access if someone was here?) They charged me an early check-in fee for going into the unit before 3pm. So if I go to a hotel and they give me a key card at noon, is that hotel going to charge me an early check in fee if I use the key card? No! The hotel will either say we cannot check you in until 3pm or they will announce the early check in fee up front and give you the option to pay it and check in early, or wait. 5. The silverware was rusty, the pans were scratched up and burnt, and the clock on the wall had a dead battery. The water was undrinkable. In the online ad they say breakfast is included. They left a few granola bars, cereal and milk. I took pictures. The property is nice but the people who rent it out are unprofessional, emotional, and immoral. They are nice and pleasant until they get your money.
