The accommodation was excellent and the host friendly and accommodating. The facilities were top drawer, including the spa bath, and the welcome pack was a grateful added touch by the host. All rooms were comfortable, clean and well presented.

Nothing to fault really it has everything we needed.

Easy to find, quaint stone house in a quiet residential area and ample car park space. We are a party of 5 and we can easily have our own quiet space as the house is huge. There are 2 entertainment and family rooms with supersize TVs which we can assess Netflix and PrimeVideo readily + another smaller Tv in another room. We can watch our own shows and movies without disturbing others. There were plenty of board games to keep us occupied as well. The beds are comfortable and we slept very well. What’s best is the heating system. During our 2 night stay Edinburgh was wet and cold but the property has heating systems installed in every nook and corner we felt so warm coming home. As it was a wet day we didn’t spend time in the yard where there were garden chairs and table. On a sunny day I am sure we could have enjoyed our family BBQ there. And Simon and his parents are ever so ready to assist us with our queries.

The location firstly was so useful as it wasn’t in the centre but just 15 minutes away and not a busy area at all. There were shops very close nearby so you don’t need to worried about looking to find food. The house was exceptionally nice and clean, very modern and a lot of space even for a family of four there was so much more room. The host was very lovely and welcoming and gave clear and simple instructions about the house that were very easy to follow. This house was genuinely beautiful and so cosy to come back to after a long day of walking around Edinburgh. Would 100% recommend especially for the price.

Literally the only thing that could be better would be being closer to the city centre, but it's clear when you book where this is on a map and it was super-convenient for us to be able to park and have somewhere gorgeous to relax each evening.

Absolutely amazing flat. It's the ground floor of an very large old house. It's so incredibly well furnished and has everything you need. I think you are definitely staying in someone's home. It was full of all the comforts of home. Lovely jacuzzi bath, which was welcome for me after I'd drive for about 8 hours! Ideal for staying and driving into Edinburgh. I assume there is public transport, but I had taken the car.

The property was well cleaned with all the supplies that needed during our stay. We stayed downstairs and had the garden as well to sit and enjoy the sun . The host was very friendly and answered quickly as well. We really enjoyed our stay here. I highly recommend this place and it’s only 11 minutes from city center.

Nothing to dislike

The property is just beautiful and decorated to a high standard, very modern but still feels homely. For large family groups, it’s ideal with three double rooms and options for extra sleeping space, all on one floor too. We had a busy schedule so didn’t really get the opportunity to chill and enjoy the likes of the jacuzzi bath, but if we ever booked again, I would definitely plan some free time to just relax and enjoy this property

We highly recommend the Immanuel House to anyone who’s traveling to Edinburgh. We had an amazing stay. The house was very well equipped and had everything we needed. It’s beautifully renovated with very spacious rooms and exceptionally clean. It was one of the best decisions during our trip to Edinburgh :) We would love to come back again in the future!

The house and whole experience was simply fantastic - the best I've had on this app (and I've travelled to many places worldwide!) The house was immaculate, very well appointed and generously spacious. My family and I visited for a funeral in the local area and the house was the perfect place to relax both before and after. May have just been an oversight, but I really would have loved coffee for the morning. I thought there would be pods, but none were stocked. If I had known I would have grabbed some from the store while we were out. We made do by grabbing breakfast out the next day instead.

Beautiful home. Lots of space and places for everyone to unwind. My kids loved watching a movie in the family room, the bathrooms were modern and water hot (realizing this is not always the norm), beautiful kitchen and backyard.

Some of our party felt that the excessive quantities of consumables gave a cluttered impression. The strong smell of bleach on our arrival was off-putting.

The apartment is in exceptionally good condition and appears very recently renovated. Furniture and equipment throughout are of excellent quality. The rooms are of very generous proportions. The owner/manager, Simon, was easily contactable and proactive in ensuring we were happy with our visit.

The property was amazing to begin with. My family enjoyed their stay very much. The entire property was perfect for our family getaway with all possible amenities that you can think of in a house. Television , microwave, oven, kettle, cutlery for 6, well furnished rooms, etc. there was also a bus stop near the house. Simon was very helpful and patient while answering any questions about the property. Totally will come back and would recommend it to anyone who wants a stress free stay with their loved ones.
