Disappointed that Sunday dinner was not made available for us when we arrived after a 5 hour journey, despite there being several empty tables and we arrived at 2.45pm ( Dinner was served until 4pm) Also if you have a room at the front of the hotel the clock on the roundabout chimes repeatedly every hour throughout the night loudly!!

Our room was beautiful, super modern, clean, spacious and luxurious. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The full Welsh breakfast was amazing. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family.

There wasn't anything I didn't like - it was great!

Everything! Our room was fabulous, the bed was very comfortable and the en-suite bathroom was lovely with a really good selection of toiletries. Great choice of tea, coffee etc in the room and even oat milk. I'm lactose intolerant so having a different type of milk already there was a nice touch. We stayed for two nights and breakfast on both mornings was delicious and very well presented. A sheet with a list of breakfast options was left in our room to be completed and left outside the door by 10pm and you could choose what time you preferred in half hour intervals. I've seen other reviews that have complained about the length of time it takes for breakfast to be served but have to say that ours was served within a reasonable time after being seated and everything was freshly cooked. There was also cereal and toast, tea, coffee and juice - the breakfasts kept us going all day. We also had one evening meal in the restaurant - we didn't book in advance, there were other people already there and a large party was also due in but this was no problem for the staff. Again the food was delicious, fresh and served promptly. Finally, I can't say enough about the staff, they were all very helpful, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We really enjoyed our stay here and hope to come back one day. Keep up the good work everyone and thank you to you all.

Lift only to 1 floor so carrying suit case upstairs was difficult. Clock tower rings on the hour.

Nothing much. The bell on the town clock tower striking every hour through the night took a bit of getting used to but this is not the hotel’s fault. Wi-Fi was pretty poor but it didn’t spoil our stay.

This property is finished to a very high level. The property is very clean and comfortable. All the staff are delightful - courteous and friendly. The breakfast was absolutely fabulous.

We arrived on Monday after 4pm so the kitchen was already closed, but there are other options on the other side of the street. We were asked to select our breakfast menu and time, but next day morning we had to wait nearly an hour to get the breakfast. The service was polite but clearly understaffed. One man was serving all hotel guests and other clients visiting the restaurant,
