The Breakfast was brilliant. The service was excellent, and both the hosts were delightful. The gardens were great.

We have been to Cornwall many times before and usually stay somewhere on the west coast. This time we stayed near Helston, a bit inland but with easy access to most of Cornwall and the amazing beaches. The accommodation was great, really comfortable, a super shower, a little space for eating or office work and a little fridge with real milk in it much to husbands delight. Breakfast was lovely, with fresh fruit, a full or not so full English and toast. There was a choice of cereal and yogurt as well, which we didn't go for. Although the accommodation is very close to the road, it is a very quiet road and only a few cars passed in the morning, not enough to cause a disturbance. The owners could not have been nicer or more helpful with suggestions as to where to go, or places to eat.

Only one small thing, was the pillows were very soft. I prefer a firmer pillow, but this didn't deter from the excellent stay

Nothing, everything was perfect

Everything was fantastic. Room was lovely, hosts Richard and briony were fantastic, and breakfast was delicious. Nothing was to much trouble. Very highly recommended.

Very welcoming hosts, immaculate and comfortable accommodation, delicious breakfast with wide choice of food on offer. The attention to detail made our stay a complete treat. Would thoroughly recommend this beautiful B&B.

Briony and Richard were welcoming hosts who provided an exceptional service. The bedroom was well laid out, beautifully decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable. The use of a small ante-room with toaster, microwave and kettle was useful. It was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious, nothing was too much trouble, and our dietry requirements were well catered for. Overall we enjoyed an extremely comfortable stay, with excellent facilities. The property is in a good location to visit main attractions and sightseeing by car.

The annexe is beside the road and the traffic can be noisy....also dangerous to walk on the road as there is no pavement....

Excellent breakfast...fresh eggs and fresh fruit...the garden is beautiful...and you can sit outside amid the flowers and eat at a little table...it has an attached pantry; also the rainshower in the wet room was a proper pleasure!!

Nothing at all.

The accommodation itself was perfect for the current Covid situation, being self-contained from the main house. It was impressively clean and comfortable. Briony & Richard were very welcoming and gave advice regarding places to visit. Breakfast was varied and freshly prepared.

Nothing not to like. Just to anyone looking to stay, be aware that the walls to the main house and b&b room are adjoining so you can hear each other at times.

Trenance house is a gorgeous little property in a really central location. The facilities were perfect, enough to make a cuppa/toast/microwave something if you want to. Plenty of storage space for clothes. The bed was really comfy and the bathroom was lovely especially with the waterfall shower.

The property is on a very busy road, but Richard was always happy to guide us out and there is a mirror opposite the property.

Briony and Richard were wonderful hosts. We would definitely stay again.

We couldn't wish for better hosts than Briony and Richard! We received a warm welcome upon arrival. The rooms, shower spotless clean. The breakfast was excellent. They also gave us excellent advice on what to see and plenty of local travel tips. They were very helpful and kind!

Access out onto the main road, not that it's overly difficult as a mirror is placed at the roadside opposite to assist, but other drivers adherence to the speed limit.

Beautifully decorated throughout, super comfy bed, awesome shower, fantastic hosts, lovely unrushed breakfast. Throughout our stay Richard & Briony were helpful, attentive and friendly, right from the personalised welcome to the farewell, we found them the perfect hosts...even with social distancing and covid restrictions, which were diligently observed. Will certainly be looking to book again, hopefully when face masks etc aren't required.

Nothing to not like

Fantastic B&B in a relaxed setting with Richard & Briony being fabulous hosts. Would highly recommend this great B&B will definitely be returning. Thanks guys for a great stay.

Only thing is the kitchen space was a little inconvenient with the low entrance and no sink but the hosts did really well to mitigate this. Make sure your weather check includes wind forecast!

The hosts were incredibly lovely, friendly and attentive especially with respect to preventing coronavirus spread. Breakfast was great and the location of the house was very central for our trips to the main attractions like Lizard Point, Land's End, St Ives, Falmouth.
