No light working above mirror. Noise from outside late at night as room was at the front.

Friendly staff, comfy bed, pleasant clean room with a bath. Very good breakfast.

Only thing was the music in the bar was a bit too loud! Hard to hear conversation but it’s a pub so don’t expect complete silence.

Clean and comfortable. Very good breakfast and friendly staff. Excellent rain shower.

Entrance to bedrooms grotty. Music was playing early (somewhere) so could hear the base thumping! Being charged full price for a flat white considering the price of the room.

I was disappointed with the breakfast pastries which were very stale. I had to ask another guest for conserves as none were provided on my table. Bedside lamps not bright enough to read by.

The central location is very convenient for my purposes and the rooms quiet and comfortable. Excellent value for money.

I had a front room which was quite noisy with people outside into the early hours. Although there was triple glazing windows I could not shut these, so only had a single layer of glaze. Also, doors of neighbouring rooms were slamming shut in the early hours. The room was very hot - although the radiator thermostat was set to zero it still came on. I reported this and the staff said they would turn it off centrally but this didn’t work either!

The central location and the staff were friendly

Over looked a bus stop. Road noisy at night with revellers. Net curtains torn and stained. Could have done with a slip mat in the bathroom but there was a sign saying the bath could be slippery.

Centrally to the high street. Breakfast very good and plenty on offer. Staff extremely friendly, helpful and courteous. Room lovely and warm on a cold wet winter night.

The biggest offput is there is no parking. The one behind the pub is so expensive (£16 odd for 10 hours) and you have to run out early to avoid a fine first thing. To check out at 11am I paid £5.70 that morning! This adds considerably to the cost of a stay and will put people off staying there

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Nice to have evening meals available.

Stayed 2 nights but found it difficult to park close by long term. Ended up parking by the theatre and paying a lot. The corridor leading to the upstairs rooms was shabby. Steep stairs.

Bedroom and bathroom really comfortable. I especially enjoyed the bath.

We understood that parking was provided by Trents but in fact cost us nearly £16.00 in pay and display. Room 3 did not have a kettle or tea/coffee provision. Room 1 needs attention to lack of lighting in shower room over mirror. General cleanliness good in bedrooms but v poor in access areas. Breakfast provision awkward & lacking due to absence of staff!

comfortable beds, pleasant staff, great location.
