The only thing I didn't like - or rather that took some getting used to - were the super tiny single track roads to get to the Treveighan Farmhouse. These roads are very narrow with few passing places. It feels like driving in a maze because there are walls of tall plants on either side. The roads in this part of Cornwall make the single track roads in the Scottish Highlands feel like a main carriageway :-)

My bedroom and bathroom were spacious and clean. An unexpected bonus was a wee fridge - yippee! I traveled four months around the UK and this was the first BnB that had a fridge in the room. Thank you! I slept well each night because the surrounding area is very quiet with little noise of passing cars. Donna's breakfast was customised to my gluten free needs. Her porridge with cinnamon and cream was scrumptious. The Cornwall coastline is magnificent and well worth visiting from Tintagel castle ruins to the many beaches.

Our experience was faultless.

The warm welcome we received on arrival. The room was lovely and spacious and very comfortable. The farmhouse was in a lovely quiet countryside setting. The breakfast was second to none. We could not have been more satisfied with the hospitality we received.

Everything! From the minute we arrived to the minute we left, we were well looked after by our excellent and friendly host, Donna. The breakfasts were exceptional, beautifully cooked and well presented in the attractive conservatory which was used for guest’s meals. Our room was very comfortable, well furnished and we lacked for nothing.

The screeky bath-room floor? 😂

The second part of our week in the South-West, we stayed at Treveighan Farmhouse. We used our time there to walk parts of the coast-path. We enjoyed our stay very much. Donna served a perfect breakfast to our desires in the serre, overlooking the lovely garden. Nice room, comfy bed, good shower. Quiet location. There was something very special happening here. Without putting up a show, Donna reached perfection in a modest way and made it look effortless. Compliments and dear regards from Hans and Anja.

Donna is a great host, so welcoming and friendly. She looks after her guests in such a nice and open way. Amazing breakfast, the eggs were delicious! Property is gorgeous with loads of space, lovely animals and nice and peaceful. Room was great size, bathroom was great and everything was comfy. Would definitely recommend!

Superb accommodations in a quiet location with easy access to connection roads. Rooms were furnished with everything a traveler needs. The breakfasts were made to order, fresh and delicious. The host was very accommodating, friendly, considerate and welcoming.

The careful attention to detail from Donna gives perfect example of a great bed and breakfast, nice touches such as different snack/chocolate bar in room each day, to the comfortable and scrupulously clean bed and bathroom. The breakfast was of excellent quality, with plenty of choices. Extremely welcoming. The location is great with no noise/light pollution, just what we needed.
