The stairs while carrying luggage, very dated

Location is fantastic, clean rooms, good breakfast. Room cleaned everyday...basic hotel but suited our group for a TT visit on a budget. Will return with the lads for future TT's but if bringing my partner I would book something a bit more flash.

Stairs up to the room. . No good for an overweight man with heart failure. I think there is a lift but not sure if it was operational. I'm just being too picky really. I managed the stairs gently.

Just the stairs..48 of them. At 65 with a bad hip..BUT it was a last minute booking and cant be avoided..lifts, that age are a problem to repair!!

ERM,..was dubious 're the " reviews " BUT apart from a Rather Rude welcome " WHY" DID u book a 3rd floor room when, you have mobility issues? AND, the lift was Out of order?? HOWEVER, VERY clean/ comfortable/ bed a bit springy..but comfortably/ decent breakfast/ T.V ok after a few " tweeks" Room cleaned/ fresh towels virtually every day..nice view..EXCELLENT value for money. Wud go again.

The keypad lock on the front door, luckily I only had too use it once and someone who was a long term guest opened it for me when he was coming in behind me

This Hotel is a friendly family run operation and there room charges are very keenly priced, it is old victorian style Property( amazing dinningroom) located on the promenade with fine views of the bay area . Bus service runs outside which will bring you to main bus terminal and ferry port. also a good location if you going to use the elecrtic tram to Ramsey. Would suit clients that are on a budget, or just want good value.In a very nice location.

It is an old building and a traditional seaside hotel with lots and lots of steep steps. You really do notice the steps after a few days. There is a lift which would reduce but not completely eliminate the number of steps, but it is currently out of service. Hotel still has the original single glazed Sash windows so there is some noise from outside.

Nice comfortable room on the second floor. Good en-suite. Lovely view across the bay. Breakfast was good but limited with choice of cereals, orange juice and a full cooked breakfast. The bed was comfortable and warm.

Very dated decor however everything was clean which is most important to me. We were in a twin room and one bed was very comfortable however the other was a bit springy. Little else that was negative!

Very excellent value for money and the staff could not have been more helpful. The breakfast was fab and always very quick every morning we were there. Good shower and toilet. Fab location on the prom although quite far away from the main bit of douglas (about 30min walk if fit and able) but lovely view and best bit of the beach for swimming/beach days.

A place to hang 4 wet towels would have helped. Nowhere to put them except over a chair and dressing table. Not good for the wood. WiFi was patchy in the room but we knew this beforehand. Worked well downstairs.

Bedroom comfy with enough light, as it was in a dark part of the building, and power outlets for 4 people to charge items. Great location. Easy access to the beach, electric tram and horse draw tram.
