Hotel desperately needs a lift to 1st floor. In our case no help was offered with our luggage had to carry cases up stairs.

Unfortunately dinner in the restaurant was underwhelming with raw pizza dough, very long waits for service although the staff were very friendly. Whilst the hotel is obviously striving to be high end they need to refresh room decor (peeling wallpaper, stained walls and furniture and tired carpet. Whilst the toiletries and linens supplied were lovely it would have been nice to have a shower cap and flannels.

Fantastic location, blissfully peaceful. Hotel building was stunning. Breakfast was tasty, plentiful, varied and served promptly.

Maybe options for dinner can be increased, but still a few options to choose from.

Location is in the middle of Anglesey, you can use the hotel as access point to everywhere. Breakfast was good enough. Overall, it's worthwhile staying this hotel and willing to stay there again soon.

The only downfall was the TV we were not able to connect it to the internet and couldn't watch on demand programmes only live TV.

We stayed here Saturday night for my birthday. The staff were fantastic, very welcoming and friendly. We had a lovely tine relaxing in the spa, pool was warm, jacuzzi was brilliant. Sauna and steam room immaculate. Our room was absolutely beautiful, we were stunned on arrival at how stunning it was. We had an evening meal, the ribeye steak was the best we've ever had and the chips were delicious ☺️ The staff were so helpful and nothing was too much effort for them. The bar in the evening was cosy and the man who served us was really welcoming, he gave us a tour of the hall and showed us upcoming restorations taking place. We both had a perfect night away and I really enjoined my birthday. The complimentary bottle of Prosecco on ice was a lovely touch to an already perfect room. Thank you very much. We will definitely be back again ❤️

Intermittent wi-fi and phone signal, which is out of the hotel’s control.

Nice spacious room with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good. The location was good for my itinerary. A nice spa to relax in after a day out. The pool and spa area was clean and all staff were welcoming and friendly.

A little dated in places

Beautiful location , we were a group doing a car track day at Tracmon so the out of the way location was excellent for the security of our cars and equipment

Bathrooms need to be renovated, needs investing more in cleaning service, mould on the shower curtains and corners.

Very poor service in restaurant. We waited an hour for our food. It was also very cold due to lack of heating. In spite of raising this issue the manager made no attempt to contact us even though I requested that they did.

The Clock Tower restaurant was disappointing in terms of menu, value for money, and atmosphere. The kitchen staff were more focused on having a laugh than the food. I had the weirdest carbonara ever and had to leave it. The restaurant side seriously needs attention. The Internet was unavailable, and there were some minor housekeeping issues. Hopefully, once the renovation is complete, a better dining experience is provided and a more consistent focus on attention to detail, the hotel will be first class.

The hotel is a beautiful old building in lovely peaceful and picturesque grounds. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was good, especially cooked breakfast. A small variety of continental style food. Our bedroom was clean and traditionally decorated and furnished in line with the hotels style. Plenty of parking and the spa area and pool is excellent.

I found the food ok but for a venue of this standard it needs to be more on point, some back of house banter could be clearly heard whilst in the clock tower restaurant, the crockery was in need of an update but I’m sure this will all be resolved once the new restaurant is up and running.

Beautiful building with fantastic grounds and location tranquil peaceful place. This hotel and Spa once the current owner completes the renovations is a Gem I loved the Building and it’s grounds the Spa is a bonus!
