Rude greeter at the restaurant in the morning shift. Blonde haired woman. I flagged her down so many times to take my bill and she completely ignored me. She when to the two tables next to me to ask if "everything is okay" and skipped me. I was seated in between the two tables. I walked all the way to her podium at the door and asked her why she did that and whether she was ever going to give me my bill she spoke over me and said "I was going to come to you later" Absolutely ridiculous!

Hotel staff were great. Room was clean and extremely comfortable. Location is amazing. I live in Canary Wharf so I'm definitely bias :)

Rooms had everything that you required but were very compact. Double beds only not twins which were very soft and I know personal choice, but horrendous for my back. Coffee machine in breakfast hall in efficient if I’m being critical.

Perfect location for 02, great for tube access but not noisy. Hotel clean and busy. Facilities good. Happy with security as couldn’t access floor without key card.

My only complaint is that when I went down to reception to get some post-marathon snacks, the woman on the coffee station told me (after I’d asked for a glass of apple juice and a cookie) “I’ve been working for 12 hours. I deserve a break.” And walked off leaving me with no service. I was a little taken aback but within 5 minutes someone else came to help.

The stay overall was excellent. My partner ran the marathon and they offered a care package and a late checkout for us which was so appreciated!

The pillows are a bit much. You can’t open the windows so the rooms get a bit uncomfortable overnight.

Restaurant:Only one very slow Nespresso Machine for the whole restaurant. Rooms: The feather pillows were extremely flat, leading to a restless night's sleep. Unfortunately, they were unable to change the pillows due to allergy concerns. The rooms were uncomfortably small, making the stay unpleasant. Shaving your beard was a challenge due to the tiny sink. Hotel: Despite being charged for city views, the only view available was of an empty field with ongoing construction and a building under development.

It's difficult to find anything that I really didn't like. If I had to, it would be that the room was quite small. If I was to stay for a longer period of time, I would upgrade to a slightly bigger room.

On arrival to the hotel the reception and lobby area has a luxurious and welcoming feel to it. The bed was very comfortable, it had to be one of the best I've stayed in and the room was very clean. Drinking water supplied in the room is very welcome which comes in an environmentally friendly carton. There are also many breakfast options to choose from, if you are thinking of including this in your stay.

I loved how the staff was so nice - Naz & Aaron did an amazing job at taking care of all my needs and requests. I loved the interior design of the hotel, the lobby was so good if you need a place to work remotely on your laptop. The view from my room was amazing as well and I loved the small details such as the personalized notebook and the Kevin Murphy products in the bathroom. The breakfast was good, I could find plenty of options - continental style - but my favourites were definitely the Nespresso coffee (and the option to grab to-go cups) and the toast with the raspberry and strawberry jam. The 'Feels like June' restaurant was also a delight! The food was incredible and the portions were huge, no wonder why it was always busy. The hotel is situated right in the heart of Canary Wharf and I adored the fact that it was 3 mins walking distance from the tube.
