Wifi not good, but not really essential when you're trying to relax.

This is the 4th time I have stayed in the Studio, the 2nd as a solo traveller. Tros yr Afon is the ideal place to relax and unwind and a great base to explore the island. It is safe but quite, with other guests on site, although I didn't see anyone. There is a lovely beach nearby and James, the host is very friendly and helpful.

Lovely cottage, very good size. Short drive into town and nice walks near by. Owner was very friendly and welcoming. Cottage was a bit dated in areas but to be honest we’d expect that due to age of property. Good value for money

The cottage was lovely. We really enjoyed our stay! The location was also very useful as it was in easy reach of the attractions we wanted to see. There are also a good range of shops and cafes in nearby Beaumaris.

Lovely cottage, clean, welcoming, easy to find and really lovely bedrooms. Layout was perfect as it meant my parent’s room was a little separate from us and the kids.

Only issue was lack of a speaker or similar. This would really be something that you would need if you hadn’t planned your own music.

Plenty of space in the cottages we rented. Great for getting family groups and friends together. Quiet location, but close to Beaumaris and some lovely areas of Anglesey.

Good location with ample parking and places to wander with the dog Quiet and had all you need. Small Morrisons just a walk away.

Beautiful place to stay and beautiful grounds! We did not want to go home it was lovely! The location was perfect not too far from Beaumaris town which is a lovely place to go for a walk / look around the shops and nice food. Will definitely be returning a few times a year! Comfortable and cozy for a Christmas stay, the tree and Prosecco/chocolates were a lovely touch. Ideal location for visiting our family. In lovely grounds with other holiday cottages.

Tros Yr afon was the perfect venue for our first ever christmas away from home! the cottages were like the tardis,absolutely vast inside,and so quaint with all the original features and the furniture had such character,it all made for a very cosy,home from home christmas. The owner came around to meet us on the 1st evening and came for a chat as we left,was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble,even over the christmas break!we have all thoroughly enjoyed our christmas getaway and are hoping to have a return visit next year! beautiful site, beautifully maintained gardens,clean,cosy,what more could you ask for!!

Greeted by James on arrival. Location perfect for a peaceful weekend away. Plenty of nice walks to be had .loved the rustic feel and the log fire. Dog friendly which is a big plus . Well stocked kitchen. Warm and clean inside and nicely furnished

Open fire difficult to get lite even with dry wood. Would benefit from a log burner. Also no WiFi so teenagers struggled. Need some new kitchen cooking trays look very used.

Very minor detail but outside lighting might be beneficial especially for guests who may be arriving during the hours of darkness.

The only downside is it would be better if you have your own transport, rather than relying on public transport. Due to me being disabled I can't walk very far, but if you're fit and healthy, the nearest bust stop is only a 20 min walk away. Marks cabs will come and collect you but it was abut pricey as I had a wheelchair to load and 6 passengers.

The Cottage was absolutely stunning, sparkling clean and had a very home away from home feel. The cottage is very roomy and the WiFi wasn't the best for signal in the cottage but a quick step into the garden or out the front and you'll be fine. The surrounding area is beautiful and the views along the trails wow. We would definitely return and possibly for longer next time as I'm sure there are more views/places we didn't get to see. All the people we met were welcoming and friendly around the cottages and in the villages we visited. There is space for one car per cottage to park outside the front.
