This is an absolute gem of a property. It is smack in the middle of the city, and is beautifully and tastefully refurbished. I cannot recommend this place highly enough, it is such a wonderful find. The owners are super helpful and really quick to respond to any requests or questions. The kitchen is so well stocked and the bathroom was stunning. Thank you for making it such a memorable stay.

The combination of private and shared living space is a brilliant idea. Making yourself a morning cup of tea in the beautiful, light-filled shared living and kitchen area is infinitely more homely than dragging yourself down to a hotel bar. Location is perfect – quiet and secluded, yet just a couple of minutes’ walk from the high street. I loved the thoughtful touches, like the eco-friendly bath wash and shampoo.

A fantastic property. Very clean, comfortable, and a lovely space to stay in. My only regret is we only stayed one night. The property is a collection of rooms (with their own stairs) off a central, shared living area. The room was immaculately decorated and fully equipped. The living area and kitchen were equally so; though we cannot comment on the social aspect of the shared area as we were the only guests at the time. The property is located a stone's throw from Winchester's high streets.

The staircase is dark, and you can't turn the upstairs light on from downstairs. Once we were in we had to leave the bedroom light on all evening - I suggest a switch for the upstairs light accessible from downstairs

Excellent location. Good atmosphere in the shared kitchen, but nice too to have our own eating area for breakfast. We could leave our luggage in the communal area after we checked out until our train was due

Booking.com says there is parking but only one space shared with three apartments-this was not at all clear in the details provided . Over half a mile walk to car park; no stair light so going to loo in the night either was in the dark or woke partner with bedroom light ; no stair rail at top of stairs ; no sound proofing - we could hear the people talking and walking around the adjacent apartment late at night and people using shared area ; walk from road to apartment is through an unlit area so pitch dark ; towel rail in bathroom scalding - another guest when commenting on this received the response that it can be adjusted but it is not clear or obvious how to do so

Parking. There is only one bay provided for 3 rooms…so you need to prebook the one and only slot, which we didn’t realise. Also, shared kitchen. It was well equipped but we didn’t realise this either.

Great location, very central and easy walk from the station. Good clear communication from owner re door codes etc. Beautiful room: really well thought-out use of space, lovely bathroom. Nice to have communal kitchen area which was clean and well-equipped. Lovely to have bread, eggs etc provided too. I would definitely stay here again.

Two minor things ... the little stool for sitting at the work desk is very noisy, and not too comfortable, and the welcome book's list of cafés and restaurants could use an update--several places that were mentioned are permanently closed.

The instructions provided by the host were excellent, and I had no difficulties in locating the buidling--even though it is tucked off the street up a driveway--or in getting into my room. The tranquility and quiet were very welcome. Very comfortable bed, nice big shower, useful work desk, plenty of storage space. Very nice shared kitchen facilities! Within a few blocks of a wide selection of cafés, restaurants, and other stores.

It's clean, stylish and functional. The location is perfect for exploring Winchester. The complimentary eggs and bread were great for breakfast and the recommendations for the local area were good. The parking space is tight but fine for a small car.

While we got in and out ok, the parking spot (or getting to it) was a bit rough. Good thing not only did we have a mini, but as a driver of one for many years, I was familiar enough with its dimensions to get the car back out of the spot with hitting/scrapping anything.

Loved this property and location. The chocolate in the bed was a great touch. The bathroom, specifically the shower was amazing.
