Very much a home from home and would be absolutely perfect during Summer months.

Could have done with a couple of much larger baking trays. Pretty cold in the evening and night throughout property which could easily be remedied with a couple of oil filled portable radiators. Quite noisy late night and early morning through outside activity as it's situated on a main road opposite a busy pub venue. Metal stairs for access to the property could be a challenge for some, especially with heavy baggage. There was a slightly loose twin electrical socket in the master bedroom that I wasn't keen on using which I feel as an ex electrician needs addressing, however, another double socket was situated next to the double bed that was secure so I just avoided the slightly loose socket. It would be a five minute fix so nothing much to worry about there. I wasn't too keen on the adapter setup feeding the television and felt that the cabling for that should be hard wired, but again, that would be a five minute fix. Television reception wasn't great and experienced a few dropouts but we didn't come to watch the television so, gain, no big deal.

Location to gig at Hare And Hounds was literally the other side of the road. Self catering with everything required to make that happen easily. Loved the cakes left for us and felt that was a very nice gesture. Bathroom the right size and shower was easy to use. Much better quality toilet paper here than any other place including those more expensive and more than enough to cater for a family with children. Internet easy to use and more than adequate. Plenty of quality clean towels, extra throws. Heater in lounge easy to use and even on a particularly cold night will make the room cosy within the hour. Good lighting throughout property and leading to property. Very comfortable double bed of superior build quality. Accessible to many shops and supermarkets which sold well priced quality products. Cheap and easy to get there and back from New Street Railway Station by frequent buses.

Didn't realise accommodation was above shops and had a bit of difficulty finding it ( FLAT 5 ) sign was the only guide , so we took a chance and walked down an entry and up some metal steps to find flat . I believe property could do with an overall clean ( bathroom especially) lots of scuff marks on walls, which made it look dirty and carpet needed a good vacuum.Bedding was disappointing on double bed..it seemed old and worn and bottom sheet was so creased an not even attempted to be ironed, that it made it all seem scruffy .....It's a shame,as it could be a little gem of a property with a bit more TLC. ✨️ 😊

Location.Plenty of kitchen roll , loo roll, and nice to have some fresh milk left in fridge and there was tea bags etc .Although we only stayed 1 night , it was good to know there was a washing machine.New fridge and microwave too. It was a lively area with good independent eateries and bars .As suggested in the info, it was noisy at night, but we were made aware of that.
