Breakfast! Very poor quality. The scrambled eggs were like thick wall paper paste with no seasoning The sausage was bread and seasoning, terrible Bacon was poor

Staff are exceptional. Room was warm and well appointed. Bed was comfy I ate in the hotel and had the chicken curry, this was very good and well priced

The only complaint (which is stopping me from giving 10 out of 10) was that there was no shower gel in the shower, so I had to leave the shower enclosure, mid shower, several times, to get some soap from the dispenser next to the sink. There were shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the shower enclosure, unfortunately these were both empty, which meant another trip to the sink. There was also no remote control for the tv.

The welcome (from Jonathon) was friendly and professional. The reception and the room were clean and tidy and of a very good standard.

Only issues was at breakfast. No staff to check you in. Bacon was over cooked (personal preference). Toaster was not turned on. Beans were not ready by the time I arrived for breakfast.

There is a couple of things that I was not very happy with. One is that you can not open the window in the morning for ventilation purposes. In the same line, there is not extractor in the bathroom so the air can get really concentrated. I used to keep the door open for a while, to allow "new" air to come in. The second one is that the housekeepers don't put much attention in making your bed properly or other details.

I'd been there a couple of times recently. For sure it is a great option, the price is absolutely fair. The hotel is really good, beds are so comfortable, rooms are so quiet, staff is nice and is just great to have a little gym when you spend there some days. Parking is big and plenty of light. If you are travelling to Bristol, for me is one of the best options. Amazing natural places near by.

We had difficulty finding the hotel - our sat nav kept taking us to an industrial estate with a barrier to get in! And returning in the dark we also had difficulty finding the right way in! So that wasn't great for us.

Comfortable room. Lots of choice for breakfast. They let us check in a bit early as we were going to a family celebration and needed to get changed.

Bathroom didn't feel the cleanest, but it may have been the fittings which caused this. Coffee didn't taste great and the machine took a long time which caused a queue.

Room was tidy, but the windows do not open so it got stuffy and hot during the night. Some items were out of stock for the breakfast, but the food that was there was okay. Good selection of yoghurts and cereals.

The discoloured grouting around the bottom of the walk in shower let the,otherwise, excellent bathroom down.

Location was excellent for our visit to Chepstow Racecourse. Breakfast menu was good and all the staff,at reception and serving,very obliging.Bedroom was comfortable and amenities good.

The hotel was exactly what we needed for that weekend--a comfortable, clean place to get a good nights sleep and shower whilst we attended a weekend event nearby. There was a cafe for breakfast and evening meal which we did not use but my husband did go to the bar area for a beer. Price was very competitive.
