The property was the perfect place for a weekend getaway, centrally located just a 10 minute walk from the centre of Abergaveny, beautiful rooms, comfy bed & the loveliest host, I couldn’t think of a better place to stay, very very good value for money!

    Nothing not to like.

As soon as Gail opened the door of her beautiful B&B, I felt at home. Ty Llew Lodge is a short stroll into the heart of Abergavenny. With its many shops, boutiques, cafes and market hall, this town has a lively atmosphere and is surrounded by green, rolling hills. If you choose Ty Llew Lodge I highly recommend having the porridge with Welsh whiskey for breakfast!!! OMG!

Overall excellent experience and stay only thing to point out if was being picky is that the toilet seat was a little loose.

Homely, cute small touches such as robes in room. Breakfast was delicious and a great option for veggies. Host had some excellent suggestions of places to visit.

    Nothing to mind

We were looked after kindly and attentively from start to finish by our wonderful host Gail. Nothing was too much of a problem for her and she gave great local travel advice. The breakfast choices were amazing and gave generous portions.

Tea and coffee facilities available but no milk available by 3rd and 4th day despite staff servicing the room daily .. was frustrating to come back to after a long day and having to go back out for milk

Loved the ambience created in this quaint Lodge by the owner Gail who is a warm and welcoming host .. I saw her twice during a 4 n8ghtvsyay and did not meet another member of staff .. my room was impeccably cleaned each day .. most comfortable bed in a quiet location which is just a 10 minute walk into the town centre

    the weather!!!

This was my second stay at Ty Lew, and this time I was upgraded to the little self-contained apartment which was fantastic. As I was starting work at 7am the host kindly brought round a full breakfast in the evening for my to enjoy in the morning. There was so much food I couldn't eat it all! I remember how delicious her breakfast was last time so was sad to be missing out on it - but this went a long way to compensating for that!

Wish we could have stayed longer.

Ty Llew Lodge feels more like a boutique hotel than a B&B. There is a guest lounge with an honesty bar and you can sit in comfort reading your book listening to music. The room was spotlessly clean with a great shower and comfy bed. The breakfast was gorgeous and service was superb. Gail was really welcoming and shared interesting local stories and history, which made us feel connected to the area. The accommodation is in really quiet residential area and only a short stroll from the high street with its great range of shops and restaurants/pubs, and within easy access of the mountains.

Nothing to do with the bnb at all but the booking system wasn't very clear on booking.com and we were under the impression the breakfast was included but it wasn't - definitely get breakfast if you do stay though as it was fantastic!

Everything was extremely clean and cosy. Gail was extremely hospitable and friendly. The breakfast was beautiful and all locally sourced. Abergavenny is a lovely place to stay with great local walks and a nice covered market.
