We were very excited about a last minute family trip we love a caravan holiday. A few days before we were due to arrive we were asked to pay a £100 deposit that would be refunded 3-5 days after departure which wasn't a great start as this was not explained before booking. The deposit was to be paid by bank transfer ( knowing a bank transfer cannot be returned I didn't pay it thankfully) booking.com confirmed with me not to pay! Before making the booking we looked at everything included which is stated linen and entertainment passes onsite etc, before setting off we did receive communication that we were to take our own linen, having a hotel we also took all cleaning products etc too. Thankfully we did! Unable to contact the owners before we were due to set off I contacted park dean to ask about passes to which they said they should be given to us. On our journey there we received a message to say we were to purchase these. The kids just wanted a swim and we were asked to pay £92!! Arrived at the caravan and it was lovely, unfortunately had to clean it though. The floor hadn't been swept / hoovered either. On making the beds we found dirty underwear! The bread bin also full of mouldy bread 😔 We are a family of 5 and enough cutlery for 2 people so off out for our first night. First night we were there understandably music was playing very loud at the entertainment but until 2am wasn't the best not when we also had people.staying next to us with a child screaming until 4am and the parents shouting at them and leaving them outside to continue crying!!! No sleep had the first night and again the second night.. All in all though we made a great time of it and it was lovely to be away with the family.

We travelled around the area, Llandudno was amazing would definitely go back. Rhyl was great we had a fab day there too everyone was lovely. Spending all day out and about.

The cooking facilities, oven took forever to heat up, the grill didn't work which we needed due to diabetes, the double bedroom draft from window.

Grill and oven didn't work properly, part of ceiling cover hanging down, no lock on toilet door,dirty tissue on bedroom floor,electric box door didn't shut,tv aeriel hanging off. No clips on doors to keep doors open,one light didn't work and dop in the floor near the door and one year old fell in dip twice.,Bedroom door didn't shut properly.

Caravan is a bit basic, lacking attention to detail in places but more than sufficient for a 2 night stay. Cleanliness could have been improved, furnishings a little tired. Caravan close to a very busy main road which made for an early wake up call.

Easy access without needing to go to reception, great communication from owner prior to visit. Good location to amenities, lots to do on site when pre-booking.

Property wasn’t clean at all when we arrived but being a private rent we took it on the chin & had a spring clean for an hour or so - also the gas heating didnt work at all only had little tiny plug in fan heater that over heated and blew cold 50% of the time so had to use cooker hob a few times when it got too cold. CARAVAN WAS SPOTLESS WHEN WE LEFT BUT STILL WAITING FOR £100 DEPOSIT TO BE RETURNED WITH NO COMMUNICATION FROM OWNER AT ALL IN 3 WEEKS OF TRYING so guess we’ll be takin that on the chin too ah..!! Valuable lesson learnt so thankyou Mr Adebayo much appreciated for that..!! Regards Chris

It was a small eight birth caravan but that’s me nit picking it was a old caravan but at the same time it done a great job and we really enjoyed our stay and would book it again

We loved our stay and we totally made the most of our stay. The caravan yes was dated it was old but also they cleaned it before we arrived. We had a great stay and made the most of stay in the caravan we used everything the caravan had to offer the cooking appliances the fridge the microwave and the shower it coped very well with four Adults & Four children. The owners was & were fantastic. The boiler went off and we couldn’t get a shower I messaged the owners & I am not kidding they had it back up and running in 30mins. The owners was very good to deal with and yes I would recommend this caravan if your looking for a holiday

We needed entertainment passes to go to the facilities even the pub. There were problems connecting to the internet so I had to contact customer services. I did resolve this in the end.

The caravan was clean and homely. The shower worked and was lovely and warm. The kitchen was well fitted out. A good place to base and travel to see and visit places.

Complete rip off, would give zero if i could. No electricity or water when we arrived. The caravan was dirty and smelled funny throughout but particularly in the double bedroom which had a strong dirty dog smell. There were also dog hairs on the sofa in the living room.There was also a large gap in the window in the double bedroom. Found a woodlouse on another bed. After waiting for hours for the water/electricity to be switched on we discovered that there wasn't any gas connected to the caravan.Staff then tried for about half an hour then told us the gas would have to be instated the following day. The whole caravan was freezing at night and although a small, faulty, hazardous electric plug-in heater was provided the accommodation was completely unsuitable, particularly considering there was an infant child and a one year old our party as well as 3 other children. Staff were also rude and lacked any customer service skills and seemingly lacked empathy.. Next day nobody called or visited so I called up to be told that this caravan was privately owned and I would have to contact the owner about the issue. When I contacted the so called private owner, he was quite unresponsive and often didn't answer or promised to call back and didn't bother but assuredme that he would sort it out. After a while my calls were going straight to answer phone.. When i initially booked it was made out I was renting directly from the caravan park and I was told I would have to check in on arrival and collect my key from reception but a short while after I received another message telling me the code for the barrier, and also a code for a key safe attached to the side of the caravan.. which was confusing. What I suspect is that the caravan park has some derelict/out of date caravans that they claim are private and nothing to do with them.

gas fire didn’t work, it only had a portable heater that was useless. we all slept in the main room of the caravan where we had the heater. my daughter actually slept on the floor by the caravan door. bits falling off everywhere, doors didn’t shut properly on cupboards and bedrooms. cheap Lino on all cupboards and table. ceiling cover falling down. we actually came home a day early it was so poor

Grimy cooker, filthy cooking utensils, a duvet with the aroma of my cricket kit after it used to spend the winter in a cricket holdall, carpets not hoovered, main area floor swept but seemingly never mopped.
