Excellent breakfast service, catered to Gluten free & Lactose free requests without any issues. Very positive host with loads of tips on local activities & a good few lessons on how to pronounce Welsh places. Overall was a delight in every way.

There were some plumbing issues while we were there so a bit noisy but it didn't stop us having a great stay.

Lillian a great host. Breakfast was delicious and filling! Hotel and restaurant opposite really handy! Amazing scenery and lake walks nearby too. All in all, a lovely stay x

Nothing it was all good

Property is in a great location directly opposite a pub with a hotel and another pub 5 minutes walk away. There is lots of walking and 2 beautiful lakes to hike to. Lill is a fabulous host kind and knowledgeable she provided a hearty breakfast on both days would definitely visit again.

Easy arrival. Lil was extremely helpful. Breakfast was out of this world. One is the best breakfasts we have had anywhere. Room was well decorated. Tea, coffee, milk and sugar were supplied and a small fridge for keeping drinks cool. Shower was small but had plenty of pressure and very hot.

Everything was good.

Location great for sightseeing and other preferred activities. At the house , you were made to feel very welcome by the owner Lilian. Breakfasts were very good. Would definitely return sometime in the future. X

Listen it was cheap and cheerful. The booking.com website didn't mention anything about a shared bathroom, but the bathroom was very clean in fairness so no major hassle there. I've paid 3 or 4 times the price for bigger named hotels and they wouldn't be half as clean and would have zero personality

Nowhere on the description - BEFORE booking- did it say shared bathroom, otherwise would not have booked there. The shared bathroom was with the rest of the house and guests were male. Asked to cancel second night which was denied.

Shared Shower blocked sink constantly leaking taps cobwebs in room old furniture mattress springs sticking out rooms dirty scaffolding out side front door dusty inside and outside 2 bulbs in room did not work unsafe light fittings tv only one channel blocked toilets

The facilities need updating.

We had a very pleasant stay andctgw hosts,we're very welcoming, but, the facilities need some attention. It felt quite dated. Cooked breakfast was lovely, but tge time slot of 08:30 was non-negotiable!

Facilities are very small and basic, beds, doors, floorboards all very noisy when moving around.

It's an old building, so there are some downsides. Our room had the sink in the actual room, rather then the bathroom You can really smell the food in the morning, even from the rooms. The pipes sometimes make loud noises There is still quite a bit of light coming around the curtains, so sleeping in the morning was difficult

I requested a vegan breakfast and had tea with oat milk, porridge and fruit. It was delicious From this location you can easily reach many attractions Very friendly staff Dog friendly The bed was nice and ferm. We hate soft beds that have dips.
