Single room was cosy and homely but not at all cramped. Thoughtfully and generously equipped -bathrobe, very reasonably priced mini bar, cake on arrival. Hans was friendly, welcoming and helpul. Very good choice for breakfast. Would happily return or recommend.

There is limited parking space at the front of the house off-road but we were able to park safely on the road by straddling the pavement.

We had a large double bedroom with large bathroom, spotlessly clean. A covered dish of cakes and fresh milk were provided in our rooms upon arrival. The breakfasts provided a very good choice of cereal and cooked ingredients. The host was very pleasant and helpful.

The parking was on the paved area of the whole of the front garden. There is room for three cars and mine just overlapped the pavement. I am not sure what happens is there are more than 3 guest cars - park on the road I assume. The large double bed was two singles fixed together.

The venue was clean, of adequate size and the view over the garden lovely. Hans was very helpful and willing to give suggestions of where to go. Breakfast was good. Seahouses was in easy walking distance.

the breakfast was excellent, the location was ideal the shops were a 5 mins walk away, near the town centre, it was quite you couldn't hear the main road.

Excellent host. Gave us good suggestions of places to visit and eat. Great advice on some free parking at the edge of the beach, a hidden gem. Will definately go back.

Ugiebrae house was spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable, quiet and calm. Perfect for a relaxing break. Hans was a warm and welcoming host and breakfast was delicious. I will recommend this place to all of my friends.

Skirting boards in our room were in need of a wipe.

Very good choice on menu, well presented and very tasty. Located a 5 minute walk from town centre. Well aituated as a base for exploring the coastline.

The host was very friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Friendly chats over the breakfast table would always include enquiries about what his guests were planning, and, using his wealth of local knowledge to suggest places of interest off the beaten track. The room was superb, and so was the view, taking in the property's lovely garden. All spotlessly clean; great breakfast, beautifully cooked. A lovely, homely environment; I cannot fault it in any way. I would thoughrouly recommend Ugiebrae House to anybody

Great location. Good for eating out in the evenings. Also very handy for the coastal bus service. Lovely room overlooking the garden. Very good breakfast.

Arrived early to be met by Hans, he checked us in and showed us the room. This was like a little apartment with a seating area as well as a comfortable bed. The room was very clean, warm and comfortable, with lovely views over the countryside and sea in the near distance. There was tea, coffee as well as a mini bar. The breakfast was excellent quality and very tasty.

There was nothing I didn't like

Greeted at the door in the pouring rain and was allowed to check in early which I gratefully appreciated. Lovely comfortable bed, linen and pillows. Coffee, tea, lemon drizzle cake a cup cake, lovely touch. Also a well equipped mini bar in the room and fridge with fresh milk. Beautiful breakfast served in a very nice conservatory looking over the garden. A really nice place to stay!

If I had to be really picky, I would have preferred different blinds at the window.

A wide shelf in the bathroom for our toiletries would have been good.

I loved the fact that there was home made complimentary cake, biscuits, mints, tea, coffee and milk in the bedroom. There was also wine and beer to buy if required. The owners seem to have thought of everything we needed for a couple of days stay. And the breakfast was superb. We ordered from the menu which offered more than just a traditional cooked breakfast. I had a muffin, bacon, poached eggs and hollandaise sauce one day and it was really delicious. Hans was very friendly and offered his guests information on the local area.

Nothing! We would recommend Ugiebrae to anyone wanting a comfortable and quiet place to stay in Seahouses.

The location was ideal, quiet but easy walking distance from the town and the harbour. We were made very welcome and the lemon drizzle cake and buns were lovely. Great freestanding bath tub as well as a separate shower. Breakfast was 10/10.

We had a problem on arrival with the plumbing, but Hans had it sorted out quickly – managing to get a plumber on a Saturday.

Excellent shower, comfortable bed and very quiet for a good night's sleep. Very friendly, informative and helpful host. Excellent and varied breakfast. Dawn chorus.
