Upper Buckton is a beautiful house in peaceful rural surroundings - wonderfully quiet. Lovely spacious room and bathroom - beautifully appointed and the bed was so comfortable. Excellent breakfasts and Jonathan and Mary are charming and welcoming hosts.

Stunning location, but had to drive to a pub/restaurant. No lock on the bedroom door when going out ( just a hook from the inside). This is fine if you have nothing of great value with you and I'm sure we just live in a paranoid world. Nice to go back to trusting old country ways.

Johnathan and Mary made sure we had everything we needed. Amazing breakfast laid in a beautiful old dining room. Incredibly comfortable bed and big investment in top quality bedding. We had an en suite room which had stunning views.So peaceful!! A lovely, characterful house and attentive hosts.

I tried to come up with something but I couldn't find a single thing worth mentioning here.

We had a great, comfortable and authentic B&B experience here. Although we were only her for one night, Jonathan, our host, made use feel extremely welcome and showed an authentic interest in us as guests. The rooms were exquisite and the Georgian country house provides an ideal setting for peace and relaxation. The breakfast was served in a very nice dining room and our host - once again - provided us with good food and a good conversation.

A superb B&B in a rural setting. Our hosts, Jonathan and Mary, could not do more for us. In fact, at their insistence, they washed and ironed a load of our dirty laundry. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was very nice, with a choice of cereals, juice, yoghurt and fruit compotes, as well as your choice of a cooked breakfast.

This B&B is stunning. The views are breathtaking and the house is so picturesque. We had the Heron room with a roll top bath, tv with netflicks, fantastic view over the fields and a walk in shower. Breakfast was delicious and on our final morning the sun came out and we ate on the veranda. We didn't want to leave. We will definitely return. Thank you for the homely visit.

Wonderful location, beautiful gardens and breathtaking views. The property is extremely clean and well presented. The host Jonathan immediately made us welcome and could not do enough for us. The room was superbly equipped and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, well cooked and plentiful. Excellent parking next to property. Will definitely visit again.

Not fully Ensuite Bathroom but it wasn’t a problem really, lack of lock on bedroom door.

The good breakfast - best sausage in the world and  staggered well organised breakfast sittings. Fantastic bed and great bedding, very good fan . Interesting building, countryside, location. Sounds of wild life at night though a open window. Nice grounds and Good parking.

Nothing not to like!

Jon is an excellent host and very accommodating. He kindly let me check in early as I was near by. He organised plant based milk for the hospitality tray, I had an excellent vegan breakfast. I had a bath tub as requested. He put my bridesmaid bouquet in water. I really loved the bedside table lamp being switched on for when I arrived later.
