The decor was a little strange perhaps needs updating/modernising a bit, the bed looked and felt a little flimsy/old. The external shower room was fine but the drainage in the sink and shower was slow allowing water to back up. The decor again in the bathroom could do with a bit of TLC, wall paper was coming away from the walls, I guess where it has been damp. The lady seemed annoyed with me that I didn't give her an exact check in time. There was lots of movement/commotion from the room above mine, keeping me awake and waking me early in the morning.

I chose it just because of the price and its proximity to the M1. However, it was much better than I expected- it was clean and comfortable, and there were nice little touches like a snack.

Bit difficult to find, was a bit confused with instructions for directions saying sat nav will take you to wrong end of high St. Just needs to say on big roundabout opposite park, or fist house on high St, on right. Also needs light outside house to see how to key in entry.

It was rather a small room & a bit overlooked from surrounding houses. Had to search room for TV remote which I finally found ticked down side of bed.

It was just a last minute booking so not too critical of the place.

It was difficult to find. The rooms were quite warm which is good for some people but was a bit too hot for me. The room downstairs has a toilet and shower but you have to leave your room to get to it. The other rooms however have a shower and toilet as an ensuite. The shower was really powerful and was lovely and warm though. The hotel is about 30-35 min walk into the town centre but we knew this when we booked.

The room was clean and there was tea, coffee and a pain au Chocolat. Parking is also free on the road. The host was lovely and welcoming. The nights sleep would have been super comfortable if it wasn't so warm as the sheets and pillows were great! The location was great as it was so close to a pub, McDonald's, five guys, taco bell, KFC, wagamama and more! We stayed one night and would be back again.

The room was advertised as having a separate, but private bathroom, but it was a shared bathroom. Also, the shower head was broken so it was very difficult to have a proper shower.

THe only thing I noticed was the lack of fire fighting equipment and details of fire exits

Staff on arrival were very polite and gave full details of how to access property, availability of local restaurants and attractions. The room was warm comfortable, quiet and with a clean en suite shower room, with clean towels, toiletries. Coffee and team making facilities were adequate and an pain au chocolate snack. Overall expectations met.

The mattress was worn and uncomfortable. I could feel the springs poking into me and struggled to find a good position.

Good location. Friendly and accommodating hostess. I arrive 20 minutes after checkin deadline and the hostess was understanding, polite and accommodating. Property is beautiful, well designed. Tea and coffee (and kettle) available in room. A sealed pastry in the room (nice touch). Clean towels, warm (it was a cold night).

No breakfast. Not a big problem but a bit disappointing. Directions to find the place could be better: sat-nav didn't register it.
