cosy and comfortable cottage, well equipped, great shower

Loved most of it but the only downside was the sofa which was really uncomfortable. It needs replacing as the cushions are flat and it is hard to sit on for any length of time . The bathroom window needs a blind as you can see through it. I put black sack up so no one could see in. Cobwebs in bedroom on ceiling in corners and around light switch. But generally very clean elsewhere

The bed was so lovely and comfortable. The quilt and bed linen was warm and cosy and off good quality.All the linen towels included was good quality. The heating worked efficiently. It a lovely cosy warm cottage with everything you could need. Generally very clean apart from cobwebs in bedroom. Bathroom was very clean and efficient. Lovely rural area , very quiet.

Door mats inside the front door would have been useful to leave muddy boot on to dry.

The accommodation was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked, the bathroom had a large bath with a shower over it, excellent at the end of a day walking in the beautiful countryside around the farm.

The location was exactly what we were looking for, a quiet, picturesque, rural setting in a farm location just around the corner from a pretty little collection of cottages Also, the cottage was in the perfect area for us to easily visit the attractions that we wanted to see.

There was no enclosed space for our dogs, the other cottages had a secure space per cottage. The downstairs en-suite shower being broken could of caused a big issue for us, fortunate my elderly parents with mobility issues could not make it to stay with us. (The whole reason why we booked this cottage was that it had the downstairs bedroom with en-suite shower room for them.). They would not of been able to use a shower over a bath in the en-suite s upstairs. We were not made aware of this until we pulled up at the cottage.

As we pulled up at the property a lady came from another building a told us the keys for the cottage were in the door, where to park and that the shower in en-suite was broken.

Spotlessly clean..really lovely staff..peaceful and quiet..a real little sanctuary to return to after a day out exploring...beautiful bath..super comfy bed.. Netflix prime etc..all round home from home..we loved our stay & would highly recommend..😊

From a personal perspective I didn’t find the sofa that comfortable but that is down to each individual taste

Location was set in a farm in very rural lovely little village. Perfect! Host was contactable for queries. Cottage was lovely and cozy with everything you could possibly need!! Lovely touch of biscuits and meal to greet you upon arrival

A little noisy at times, but only what you'd expect from a farm setting.

Great location to get away from it all. Well situated for the Cleveland Way and a variety of different levels of walking. Some fantastic opportunities for good food nearby.

We had to share the back garden and there was only one table and chairs so it was first arrived first served and when they were doing barbecues we had to close the window to avoid the smoke going in the bedroom on the first floor.

It was very well set up and they keys were on the door waiting for us as we arrived late. We had some basic stuff to sttart our weekend and there is a barbecue outside in the back garden.

The week was very hot We stayed in Form cottage An umbrella for a little shade when sitting outside would be a good idea. Very little privacy outside the cottages. Some guests could be a little loud.

The peace and quiet. An evening walk to spot the local wildlife. Spotted deer, hares, bats, hedgehogs and various birds.

We stayed in Couch Cottage , it was lovely , comfortable bed , very well equipped included a dishwasher but I don’t know how to use one 😆. The only thing that let the cottage down was the bathroom grouting needs a good scrub with bleach or better still renewing otherwise 11 out of ten .

Very comfortable well equipped cottage . Great views and walks in the area and only a short drive to Helmsley for shops and pubs .
