The jacuzzi was cold. The pool / spa area was in need of some TLC. The bathroom decor was very tired.

Breakfast was good. Would’ve liked scrambled egg option instead of fried. Great location. Last stayed in 2003 with my sisters.

The room we had we have stayed in before and I noticed the bathroom should have been redecorated by now.

As we have stayed at The Victoria before we were very pleased that finally the lift had been replaced. The breakfast was as plentiful as usual although a variation on the eggs (i.e. scrambled ) would have been nice.

The pool changing facilities are dire. No sign to tell you where the changing rooms are so i walked into the men's. Showers not working, lockers not working. Shabby. Pool ok.

Everything, food, the character and charm of the building, the staff. Great that the evening resteraunt and bar next door so not noisy.

The hotel was dated and also struggled to turn radiators off. Either direction kept them on. We also didn’t get our room cleaned in two days by house keeping

I loved the location and the size of the room we had. Perfect for a family get away and have our own space

Although it was clean and tidy i just feel things are a little dated. The carpet on the stairwells were taped down with holes. And the pillows were a little hard.

The hotel was in a perfect location.Handy to beach and shops.Breakfast was lovely. The hotel was nice and clean and the reception was excellent and an easy process to check in and book car in for parking

We went swimming once, the pool itself is fine, but the woman’s changing room is in a terrible state and desperately needs attention. There are holes in the floor where there used to be benches and holes in the wall where there used to be hooks to hang things. There is nowhere to put your clothes and towels when you’re changing. There was water dripping from the ceiling. I didn’t swim again as I didn’t want to use the changing room.

The staff are very friendly. Our room was comfortable (though the bed did give me backache as it was too firm) the breakfast is really good and the large lounge areas and seating are great.

The hotel needed a decoration make over .

From the moment we entered the hotel it was like stepping back in time. The elegance, wonderful, decor, dated, but set the time of glory , just to think of its glory days . Time warp.

The breakfast was mediocre. Just cereal and unhealthy fried stuff which was not for me. As for the quality of the fried stuff: Wetherspoons do far better!

The view from the lovely dining room - spectacular! Warm and very comfortable. Wonderful friendly reception for my little dog. Wonderful old Victorian building inside and out.

I did not like the surly attitude of one of the male staff when I had to visit reception because my key card failed to open the room door. Why did this happen in the first place? This was not my fault. I thought the breakfast was pretty mediocre. No offer of eggs not fried. No proper mushrooms. No veggie option either. Why should the eggs all be fried? It irked me that you wouldn’t change the room I inadvertently booked as a family one instead of a single which is what I wanted. As a 75 year old I struggle with online bookings I felt you are not being tolerant at all - shame on you! Very

I liked the lovely reception that my little dog received. This was very much appreciated. I liked the building inside and out, and the spectacular view from the dining room - wow! I loved my huge family room even though this is not what I required being on my own.
