The heat of the room, no nearby car park

The staff were really friendly and helpful. It's in a great location within walking distance of Albert Dock and Liverpool One and there are some nice bars and eateries around the hotel. There's an amazing Italian bakery a bit further down the road. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout and the facilities were very good. It is opposite a lively outdoor bar at the back where our room was, so if you're noise-averse you might struggle, but we didn't find it too bad. The only niggles were that the room was a bit too warm (even with the climate control...the fans didn't seem to make loads of difference) and the car park is a 5 min walk away which isn't far, but if you've a lot to carry might take a few trips. Apart from this it was excellent and we would definitely stay here again next time we are in Liverpool.

Friendly welcoming and helpful staff, good room, thoughtfully done (mini fridge, air con, additional floor level light in bathroom so as not to wake partner during nocturnal bladder trip!, blackout curtains, propper clothes hangers and not the awful tethered offerings, separate pegs to hang wet coats by door - all simple little things that many hotels fail miserably on) comfy bed. Breakfast was good, full cardiac arrest English, and "continental" selection were good. Good coffee and tea (though orange juice was not the best). Will definitely stay here again when in Liverpool. All staff encountered were excellent, helpful and friendly.

We booked the hotel last minute. There was a lot going on in the city on this particular day so the rates were quite when we were looking through booking.com. we picked this hotel as it was one of the cheaper options and because of this we weren't expecting much. We were wrong to think this and very pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The facilities within the hotel and the room were of a very high standard. Everything about our stay was brilliant but the staff were above and beyond. Every member of staff we dealt with were so friendly, made an effort to make conversation or even just smile and say hello. Would definitly stay again

Welcome chocolate fountain! Very comfortable bed and pillows. USB points and ample plugs for charging. Industrial chic room decor is lovely. Shower is excellent. Quality liquid soap, shampoo and conditioner. Soft towels and flannels provided (not usual for hotels to provide flannels nowadays). Desk area with plug for lap top. Dressing gowns and slippers provided. Variety of complementary water and flavoured water drinks in fridge, very good selection of tea and coffee, fresh milk, chocolate cookies. Secure access to lifts and stairs. Very friendly staff. Beautiful breakfast, cooked really well.

Lighting a bit of an issue as I often find - multiple switches but still not light enough in areas where you need it to be i.e. dressing table area. Breakfast was fine but bit limited in selection on buffet and I really did not like the extra £2 charged to have avocado on bread with a poached egg - I cannot see the justification for this within a £16 breakfast, so I ended up with nothing from menu. Some comments say guests like the aromatic smell pervading the hotel - I found it a bit much personally. However a very nice hotel overall.

Very new hotel and the decor is fresh and inviting - warm use of colour throughout. The mainly young staff are lovely and keen to be friendly and helpful. Interesting design of bedrooms and robes/ slippers provided.

When two men check in together don’t feel the need to double check they know it is one bed. We already know that! Made us feel awkward and it was unnecessary.

Booked a family room for my husband and I and our 15 year old daughter therefore we needed to use the sofa bed. Felt however the room was very cramped sadly as a result.

staff was super friendly, rooms were clean and nice decor. They looked after all my needs, I wanted to fast and needed breakfast earlier than usual so they prepared a breakfast platter for me to keep in my room.
