The amount of stairs to the flat - you have to be fit to carry up luggage. Once there though it’s worth it for the view.

Maybe have a blind in the bedrooms as well as the curtains to help to block out the light. Maybe not something that you can control, but the entrance/step area could do with a spruce up to make it look more inviting.

The communal areas are very tired and grubby. The stairs are narrow and windy - this needs to be made clear on details. When you eventually reach the apartment it is lovely, however we didn’t sleep for two of the nights we were there due to noisy youths until 3.30am on Friday and dismantling of food festival stalls at 1.30am on saturday! Appreciate nothing anyone can do about that. Bathroom window needs a blind, ok during day but you feel very exposed at night when lights on!

Beautiful view of Viking Bay, central to all local shops and restaurants, and it was a well equipped apartment (dish washer, washing machine, kitchen equipment for making food). Kids enjoyed it so much and had the best time in Broadstairs, we also went to Margate by taxi.

Very comfortable accommodation, wonderful view of the cove. Stayed on the top floor. 52 steps up but the view is breathtaking. Everything you need is supplied, lovely kitchen, electric hob and oven, so takes getting used to, if you normally use gas. Lovely host to help out.

I didn't mind the stairs but be aware if you are unfit as there are very many of them. the shower kept blocking but lisa was very swift to sort it out so thanks not enough cleaning products provided eg sponges and kitchen cleaner / hoover (even a mini one). . if they were there we would have wiped everything down before leaving.

It would have been good to have instructions on recycling as i expect most people wouldn't bother without directions. Just a simple note when mentioning the bins to say that there are recycling bins on the promenade. A blind on the windows on the east side would have been an added bonus - we woke up very early as it was very light in the room!

The location was perfect, right in the middle of everything. The views from the apartment were amazing and the place was really nicely decorated, freshly painted and felt very clean.

CON’S: If you are not fit you should not under estimate the stairs. there are 5 flights with a total of 53 steps in a narrow stairwell with twists. This makes it difficult to carry luggage up and down. I would suggest packing luggage into smaller cases rather than one large one with as fewer cases as possible to avoid trips up and down. Parking outside the apartment is free from 6pm to 9am but is expensive outside of these times at £2.60 p.h. All of the streets by the apartment have double yellow lines or timed parking. However, to the right of the apartment, at the end of Victoria Parade there are approx 15 free spaces at a building called Grand Mansions. There’s also street parking nearby here. Another alternative is 5-10 mins walk to the left of the apartment. A long road called East Esplonade which is also free. The apartment really needs blinds in the bathroom & kitchen. The bath is right under the window and although the window is frosted it still allows a degree of visibility, especially at night with the light on. when you leave the bathroom you step into the kitchen which has a large window overlooked by the buildings at the back so you don’t feel comfortable walking straight from the shower through to the bedroom. Blinds would give a much improved feeling of privacy to the guest. The t.v kept losing the signal on live channels,sometimes not regaining it for quite a while. It probably works off a communal aerial so it may be worth having an amplified interior aerial for when this happens.

PRO’S: The views over Viking Bay were beautiful. Don’t let the condition of the exterior passageway put you off as the apartment itself is finished to a high standard with every appliance you will need. This includes a dishwasher, washing machine and coffee making machine with a selection of pods. The bed is super comfortable with a memory foam mattress that enables the person on one side to move without disturbing the person on the other side. The t.v has a good sized screen and has Freeview and Netflix. The location is excellent. Broadstairs is a lovely place and the beach is right outside the apartment. The town is about 3 minutes walk away with nice pubs, bars and restaurants.
