Only improvement would be to have better blinds in the bedroom to cut out the morning light. Other than that the house was perfect for us and we'd definitely return.

As already mentioned…a handrail on the stairway would be a welcome addition for some people.

Location is superb. Only a short walk into the centre of the village to the local shop, pubs and the castle. There is a bus stop virtually on the doorstep for anyone that wants to leave the car parked up. We planned to catch the bus into Oswestry on Sunday but discovered there’s no Sunday service so we drove in after all. The house itself is lovely. I booked the holiday for my partner and myself, my brother and sister in law, their dog and my Dad. We were all really impressed by the decor, size of the rooms, comfortable beds and the lovely outdoor space. My Dad is 84yrs old and was initially concerned by the lack of a handrail on the stairs but he did manage to get up and down without any mishaps. If I was able to make one adjustment to the property it would be to add a handrail to aid anyone with limited mobility, young children or any other elderly visitors. This is merely an observation and it did not detract from our stay. Communication with Richard prior to our stay was very good. He was able to facilitate an early check in which was greatly appreciated. I would recommend the property to friends and family.

Could have done with a hand rail on the main stairs — my daughter is recovering from an illness and the rail would have been useful. Only a minor point, though. Loved the property.

Very well thought through 3 bedroom property: super-easy parking, clean, well decorated, all the facilities that you need, large modern bathroom with good bath and large walk-in shower. Warm. Good internet. Close to a road but very little noticeable road noise. Excellent communication from host.

Perfect location for visiting our family. House was bigger than expected and really well equipped. It really suited our needs 2adults, 3 kids and a dog. Richard the host was really responsive and helpful. There was the added bonus of a family and dog friendly pub a short walk away. We will definitely use again when visiting the area

Just wonderfully presented house with all the things you need for your stay. All bedrooms were good size providing option where to sleep. It’s a three floor house with additional bedroom upstairs which was a nice surprise. A garden was great for our dog too.

Nothing at all we didn't like. If anything could be done perhaps a blind on the kitchen window and a nice rug in front of the wood stove but really nothing that would put us off returning.

The whole home was spotlessly clean upon arrival, it's new but still the cleanliness was excellent. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, a lovely bath and shower plus a decent kitchen and appliances made it easy to get comfortable in, a proper home from home. Location is excellent, a five minute walk to the castle which was lovely especially in the evening. Road noise is minimal, in fact almost non existent. Would certainly stay here again. Richard was a great host, delivering wood for the burner and ensuring that we were settled in and comfortable.

Arrive while it is light if you can, it was difficult to find in the dark as it is on a corner on a fairly busy road and no house number. The key box is also very low down so we didn’t spot it and thought we had the wrong house! Have your phone torch ready and you’ll be fine. Otherwise everything was brilliant.

Exceptional property, everything was fantastic and very new, we could tell! We had everything we needed, lots of space, great kitchen, lovely decor, really appreciated the tea, coffee pods and the firewood. Excellent location, plenty of places to eat very nearby.

Beautiful accommodation was located in nice area. I think it’s full renovated recently. Smelt very clean. All furnitures and appliances are new and well organised. If you visit around the area I would definitely recommend to stay here.

Nice stay, clean, convenient, good host. Just a few things could be added, there are no sockets on landing at all for a night light, hair dryer or to plug hoover in. No mirror in bedrooms to do make up or hair. The mattresses in single bedroom were too comfy, thin, springy, I had gran daughter to stay over for a night so slept in single room with her.
