Very restrictive menu, no daily board choices. Lunch and evening meal menu the same. We stayed for two days but would not have wanted that same menu for a weeks stay.

It’s position. The golf course. Surroundings - good. Room - good . afternoon tea - good

Not sure why we put into room 506 which (apparently) for disabled guests - low wash hand basin, high WC, emergency pull cords. The room was generally OK.

It was a shame we were not informed that the room overlooked the back of the kitchen area and small car park. Was woken on the first morning at 06.55 to the sound of trolleys and bins being loaded into a lorry, this went on for half an hour. Not so noisy on the second morning.

Very good buffet breakfast. Comfortable bed and pillows. Ironing facilities. Lots of hot water for showers. Clean fluffy towels. Good array of teas and coffees in room.

Paid for a suite, room was clean but shabby. Big stain in the living room floor (under chairs). Chairs broken and rocky. Two bedroomed (for 4 people) suite with only 2 chairs and dining room chairs to sit on. Drafty doors out to balcony. As rendering falling off the balcony was closed. No attempt to clean up fallen rendering. TV in lounge inadequate channels, however, bedroom TV working. Had to sit on bed to watch TV. Inadequate lighting in lounge. Had to bring out a lamp - the only lamp from spare bedroom.

Breakfast was good. All you can eat and plenty of choice. Bar area pretty good. Satt friendly. Not anything else to say.

The paint work on the both the exterior and interior requires urgent improvement. The corridors, window sills and ceilings were shabby in many areas. Our bathroom had a disabled toilet, very low wash basin and walk in shower. Neither of us are disabled! Unfortunately, the guests in the next room had a large dog and when it was left on its own, it barked continuously! There were notices asking visitors not to walk on the grass. This restricted any walking around the grounds to just around the car parking area!

Our room was adequate for a two night stay. Breakfast was very good with a choice of fresh fruit, cereals and cooked food. The staff were friendly and helpful. Check in was very quick and efficient. The indoor swimming pool was an adequate size for the size of the hotel. The hotel is a good location for exploring the surrounding area - Arundel, Worthing and Littlehampton
