Our room was upstairs of the hotel it was quiet at night but in the Morning there was a noise next door like a generator sound that came on from 8 and 9am that everytime it came on it lasted for like 30 -40 seconds and it woke us up.

The headboard on the bed was disintegrating and all the material was all over my pillows I did let them know also it needs a fridge in the room

I stayed for 3 nights & my room wasn't cleaned. It would have been nice if my bin had been emptied & tea & coffee replenished

When we got there the cleaner had missed some rubbish behind the chair, the mattress was very uncomfortable and sleeping there two nights wasn’t great for me back,there was rust in the bathroom and marks on the walls, a stain on the carpet, I understand things get used and warn

Well, I arrived at 5 o’clock and had to go straight to a meeting and I asked the staff to deliver my luggage to my room which they said they would do. Unfortunately, they didn’t bother when I returned after 9 o’clock in the evening. However, I will say the manager comped me, a drink and some sweets. The other problem was the room was very hot and the air-conditioning seemed very inefficient.

Comparing the property to the Premier Inn Waltham Abbey where I stay previously, it’s considerably better, not so rundown and nicely a portion rooms. Generally a much nicer hotel which ended up being cheaper than the Premier Inn .

the breakfast was very disappointing. The bread rolls were so dry I am convinced they were baked Monday and left to be eaten all week. Quite shocking considering the usual Marriott standard.

rooms were nice but bathrooms outdated. Staff was nice but twice we were looked after by a trainee at the front desk and I was surprised that she was left to her own devices. It took a long time to check in and she wasn’t able to answer our questions. I understand what it means to train for a position but the hotel should ensure that there is a fully trained staff member at hand to assist where needed.

Although the breakfast buffet was good, there was quite a wait for items to arrive. It’s a bit pricey as well for a night.

The location is excellent just off m25. The beds were amazingly comfortable. The reception staff were very helpful & welcoming. Large quiet hotel.

Apart from the bathroom light and entrance to room, the lighting was provided by lamps. So it was just a little dim upon entry, but had a relaxed atmosphere. The natural daylight was great though.

Clean & comfortable environment, polite and friendly staff, nice view from bedroom window oh and the breakfast buffet was delicious.

Being charged (again) for parking despite logging my car details at reception. Although subsequently resolved by reception, this repeat is annoying.

The a/c in the room was not cooling even though it was set to 16.5 deg. c. I was later told it was not really a traditional a/c but cooled air.

Comfortable bed. Great Gym. Quiet even though near the motorway. The staff are super and always willing to assist especially during the sumptuous breakfast.

A real shame to not have the pool anymore. Breakfast felt like it had been sitting around a long time, even at 8.30
