Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Right next to the Blue Anchor in the town center, very comfortable room facing the main street, great host and amazing breakfast! I'd go back there in a heartbeat if I could and also drink a few pints of Spingo next door... Thanks again Kim and hope to come visit you again soon!

The owner, Linnie, is a lovely person and was very welcoming. The breakfasts were always really nice each morning, and the size of the room and facilities were more than we were expecting. A great place to stay in the countryside south of Bristol.

United KingdomOur room was uncomfortably cold even though the heating was on, just a smallish single radiator obviously wasn’t sufficient for a good sized double room. An extra heater or, hot water bottle even , would have been much appreciated.
Nice modern property and decor, close to Bristol airport (flight noise not a problem overnight) for our early morning flight. Large enough to feel like you had your own privacy but with the host present, welcoming and very hospitable. Extremely helpful with breakfast choice and parking for our week away.

The property was great in a good location for the airport. The owner was pleasant and very responsive. Breakfast was offered but declined due to travelling times, but pastries supplied.

Everything, basically! Linnie was a friendly host and communicated well before I arrived, giving me a super welcome when I checked in. The directions were accurate and parking was no problem. The property is in beautiful condition and the bedroom and bathroom were well-appointed and spotless. The bed was very comfortable and the shower easy to use. I slept well, probably partly because of the quiet location with fields at the boundary of the garden. Breakfast was really good; the croissants were delicious! Linnie's B&B offered everything that one could want and I'd highly recommend it.
