The property has problems with their heating system and had to refer us to alternative accommodation .

Nothing was too much trouble. Even upgraded us to two separate rooms as there was an issue with the twin room we had booked. Location was great as was breakfast.

Lovely friendly staff, very clean, food was excellent with a great choice on the menu. Dog friendly they even provided dog blankets and a feeding station in the room.

There was a problem with the hot water in the hotel, so we were having to have cool showers and washes. However, the hotel were aware of the issue, and were trying their best to rectify this.

Breakfast was very good with a good selection of hot and cold food and fruit juices. Hot food was cooked to order which made it fresh and delicious. Staff were attentive, polite and courteous. We also chose to eat our evening meal in the hotel on 3 occasions, the food was lovely, again with a varied choice and was by far the best out of all the eateries offering evening meals in Warkworth. Our room was comfortable, bottles of water, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits were replenished daily. Another nice touch was the shower gel, shampoo and conditioner provided were locally produced in Northumberland and were lovely.

Nothing that I didn’t like. The hotel perhaps needs a little updating in places but I am sure that they are on it!

Had a very comfortable stay. A very relaxed experience. Lovely to see that the hotel is dog friendly too. A pleasant room, comfortable bed. Breakfast was great and evening meals of good quality. The steak and ale pie was particularly delicious. Great location. But what really makes this place is the friendliness of staff. They were helpful, and efficient. Thank you for your hospitality. I will definitely be back.

Being an attic room and it being warm weather it was very hot up there. Fan provided but maybe an actual "cooler" would be better as sash window only opened a few inches and when I tried to open it more the wooden wedge balanced on the sill fell out onto the street below - oops :-( but no casualties! Car park was tiny for the size of the hotel but parking nearby as they pointed out.

The room was lovely and the bathroom superb. Breakfast very good.

Really enjoyed our trip the only small comment was that when our room was made up the vacuum wasn't put on. Otherwise it was great.

Great location in a little village with nice walks and easy to drive to various attractions. Excellent room, comfortable bed, chairs etc. Good sized bathroom, lovely big soft towels. Tea and coffee with fresh milk in the fridge. Breakfast choices were excellent and delicious, in fact the standard of food was superb.

The room faced the road. There was traffic noise during the afternoon and evening and in the early morning.

The care taken for people with allergies could have been better and the staff at breakfast were distracted so forgot when asked for something, however the food we did have was lovely and well cooked.

The mini fridge in the room could have been cooler as the fresh milk wasn't very cold and by second day seemed slightly off. My poached eggs at breakfast were hard which was a shame.
