Bar could improve on the taste of drinks; I had a pina colada and found it really sweet.

The aesthetics of the building is nice. Secure parking on site. There’s lots of facilities. Food provided by the restaurant is tasty! A good place to stay.

Nothing to dislike. The gardens have suffered from several years of neglect which are being addressed. We look forward to returning to see how things are developing

There were no slippers no bathrobes and no dental kit, for the last one they charge 2£ at the reception.

One of the most beautiful places we’ve been, located in a very nice and quiet area. The room was very comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed the garden view and the warm indoor swimming pool.

No slippers or robes provided and fridge wasn't turned on. No instructions were left on how to turn on. Also breakfast has a great selection but lacked flavour. Very bland

A really minor thing but there wasn't a lot of pastries for breakfast!

Lovely room, friendly staff and great to have the gym that my daughter (12) was also allowed to use as this didn't seem to be the case with most hotels I checked out.

We were looking for a venue within easy reach of Wimbledon & selected the hotel on the basis it had an indoor pool so were willing to pay a bit more. The pool was closed on Saturday due to a chemical treatment being added. Asked if it would be open on Sunday & could we still use it after check out time. After breakfast receptionist informed us that the pool was still closed & they were making enquiries about referring guests to a Leisure Centre in Kingston which wasn't a viable alternative for us. Disappointed that the issue wasn't resolved on the Saturday and affected our plans for Sunday.

The room was spacious, comfortable & clean. The bathroom contained a modern shower unit, illuminated mirror & magnifying shaving/make up mirror which was fixed at the right height. Nespresso coffee machine had a limited selection of flavour pods. I would have expected there to be more on offer.

Meals expensive despite discount Main car parking needs to be tarmac.

Character property very well maintained. Good evening meal and excellent breakfast. Quiet location.. Great staircase and piano off reception.

Bathrobes would have been a nice addition. Quite a long way from town centre but Ubers were easy to get.

Whilst the room was nice, it was a little on the small side for what you would expect from a family room. Luckily we had not planned to spend much time in the room, but if we had, the size of the room would have been an issue. The pool even at the shallow end was rather deep and so our tall 5 year old could not stand up. Floats by the pool would have been a great pool addition.

The location of the property is 500yards from Richmond Park and close to bus links if you wanted to explore the local area. Situated down a private road the hotel was quiet and you could not hear any of the Main Street traffic. Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly. The room was nice. The pool was empty each time we visited and we really valued it being open 8am-8pm as lots of hotels have restricted swim times for kids. Gym and swim towels provided and WiFi good!

only downfall breakfast was awful - bacon looked horrendous and I don’t know what meat that was but definitely didn’t look like bacon, the sausage was gritty and the croissants were rock hard.

Bathroom cold, no surfaces for wash bags, badly repaired door handle with sharp screws, no plug in very small hand basin, no hooks for outside ( wet) coats - needed as cottage/rooms are separate from main hotel area.

Staff responsiveness, they were so helpful;, location in a quietvprivate road; easy, free parking; hot, cooked breakfast using quality ingredients & cooked to order with fresh orange drink; bedroom well presented.
