The parking is not that easy if you are planning to leave a car during the day but overnight is ok. There are towels for hire.

The hotel was easy to find and was close to the centre of Penrith so had wasy access for shops and restaurants. There were all of the necessary facilities for food and drink preparation and also drying areas and bike space for those who required it.

One thing that would have been helpful... A full length mirror (maybe on the back of the bedroom door)? And a pre-warning that it was up 4 flights of stairs!

We sCleantayed in the "apartment". Spacious, super comfortable beds. Waterfall shower 😲 which was hot! Towels, every cooking gizmo you can think of, tea towels, tea coffee and fresh milk in the fridge. Soap and shower gel in the bathroom. They have literally thought of everything.

Great location (less than five minutes' walk into the area where the pubs, restaurants and takeaways are), communications were good, was invited to park off road on the property's drive, out-of-hours check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow, room was super clean, beds comfortable (and each had their own reading light and USB-A charger socket) and shower very good. There are also communal kitchen (with FOC tea and coffee and cooking facilities) and TV areas.

The bed and linens were fairly comfy. I could feel the springs in the mattress...perhaps time for a new one...or a foam gel pad on top.

Welcoming and helpful without being intrusive. Comfortable spacious room with seats as well as beds (unlike YHA). Decent sprung mattresses without rubbery covers (again unlike YHA). Clean well-designed kitchen. Not far from town centre yet in a quiet area. Dry room and bike storage (even though I didn't need these on this occasion). Nice fluffy towels available to hire very cheaply if you don't have your own.

Absolutely amazing experience. Lovely place, good location, stunning self contained kitchen. Has outside and inside sitting area. Mixed dormitory beds are comfy. Very tidy place. And most important a lot of support from owners. Very much recommend Hostel 🙌 😊
