Seating for one at breakfast was central to the dining room so felt a bit exposed, would have been better at a side setting.

Very good location within a minute's walk of a nice beach and a bus stop to go anywhere on the island. Excellent breakfast and other meals when required. Coffee, tea and biscuits provided in the room. Very friendly staff. Lots of car parking spaces by the hotel.

The owner was aggressive when asked about Wi-Fi started shouting and screaming telling my husband that he didn't know what he was talking about and this all happened in front of a bar full of people

The whole place has seen better days and is somewhat outdated

The hotel has a run down feel to it.Staff / owners were pleasant and helpful ,if somewhat extreme in their views. You kind of feel that they would be happier doing something else.

A bit of TLC and a lick of paint in our room particularly the bathroom, stayed in garden chalet the flower shrub bed outside was awful ,dead shrubs, overgrown with weed and brickwork needed painting two hours tops to do this and make the area more presentable.Behind that was rubble and old sun loungers and generally untidy. I mean dont anyone from booking .com go to visit/inspect theses places before giving out ratings

This place needs a re-vamp The property is large and rambling and has enormous function rooms The pool area needs tidying up and the decoration in the rooms is tired It was relatively expensive

we were in a ‘chalet’ building in the back of the hotel, which was great for our bikes, but the accommodation is tired, paint peeling and signs of damp. The bathroom definitely in need of an upgrade. The cleaning was fine, but only so much you can do with a room in need of some work.

The location was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Great breakfast.

Very dated. Very dreary decorations. No comfy seating. Mostly booth type seats. Plus no lift which wasn’t too much of a problem except for carrying heavy cases up and down two narrow flights of stairs.

I can't say there was anything we didn't like.

Staff were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. Rooms were very good value for money and very comfortable. Breakfast and evening meals were delicious and plentiful.

Somewhat old-fashioned and tired...perhaps even a little shabby. Thin walls between rooms. Seemed well over-priced for what we got...but maybe we're just not used to Guernsey prices!

Pressure and temperature of the shower could have been better.

The general atmosphere of the staff and place was cheerful and welcoming. We also got bumped up to the exec suite for logistical reasons, which helped! The room was lovely and spacious.
