Other than the incident on the first night, we liked everything about the property and staff.

Hotel was nicely situated and rooms were lovely. Ours looked out at a pretty park area. Staff were very accommodating, although we did have a situation when we first arrived and had to be relocated for one night to their sister hotel next door, The Rochester, which was not nearly as nice and was clearly still in the process of being renovated. Couldn’t help but wonder if we’d been bumped to accommodate a large tour party. Thankfully, we were able to move back to the Wellington for the remainder of our 4-night stay…staff took care of everything, which was much appreciated. Loved the convenience of the lounge area, where we could have cocktails and appetizers after a long day of sightseeing.

Certainly! Here’s a revised version of the review: I was assigned a handicapped-accessible room, which was not necessary. The sink was too low, and the shower area was not enclosed. Additionally, I was charged for phone usage without being informed of these costs when I inquired at the front desk about how to use the phone. Also, I found multiple hairs in the bed that were not mine, even after the room had been cleaned.

Coffee was very good. Burger and beer was nice. Courtyard was pleasant.

The bill of the breakfast was £45 for 2 while it's indicated it's £17,5 per person. Absolutely no-one told us the price would be more expensive if we don't make reservation the day before (plus, we arrived around 11pm ... so the person at the reception could have asked us if we want breakfast the next day)... This information was given when we did the check-out .. None commercial solution was offered neither done.....

The location was amazing, next to Victoria's station - perfect for the plane - near Buckingham. Very safe and cute. The room was very clean and cute. The service was good. Thanks to the man who found us a solution to travel to Gatwick while the strike was happening !

It is cold! The room took ages to warm up, the windows are old and leaky, with a never ending cold draft, but bathroom was especially cold, with no heating whatsoever (the towel warmer was broken) and floors felt like walking on an ice rink.

Fairly good location, excellent breakfast buffet, very decent gym

We were put right next to the elevator so the hallway was sometimes noisy but it didn't affect our sleep.

Very clean hotel, location close to Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace. Friendly staff and yummy room service. The building is beautiful and setting is quiet.

Location although in a lovely area a little bit out of the way to where we would normally stay. No pubs or restaurants nearby so having to eat in the centre of London before heading back to hotel.

Good location for Victoria Coach Station about a 15 minute walk no taxi needed.

Not really a lot to say about what I didn't like but if I had to I didn't like the fact you had to put the toilet seat down to flush as the button was behind the seat when it was up. 😁

It was only about a 10 minute walk to the tube station, close to Buckingham Palace so in general very good location.

The room really needs secondary glazing because the road, though not that busy, is very noisy. Large bathroom had a basin so small you could barely wash your hands in it. Odd choice, given the generosity of everything else.

Beautiful spacious room, well furnished. Really helpful staff looked after my bicycle, and also found me a bowl to borrow. I would stay here again.

I was given a very nice room but as it was for the physically impaired it had a very small washbasin in the bathroom and all the door handles were a foot lower than normal. Apart from that all fine.

The hotel is in a very quiet part of Westminster. The staff were very attentive and efficient as it used to be in the old days, before Covid that is!
