    Liked everything

Very comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Didn’t use the kitchen but it was very nice. Everything was very clean and tidy and more towels than many hotels that I’ve stayed in were provided!

The WiFi in the property we stayed in was very poor. However the owner very kindly let us use the WiFi in the property next door so we could work from there for a couple of days.

Amazing location and quaint little property with open-plan kitchen / living area, bathroom and double bedroom. Large bi-fold doors off the living area lead into a patio with table, chairs and BBQ. Friendly hosts who were very accommodating and friendly.

Would have liked access to cleaning equipment like a broom, hoover and mop and bucket. Down pillows instead of the hard foam ones would have helped for that perfect nights sleep, 3 of the 5 adults had problems with the foam pillows.

Gorgeous peaceful location, easy access to town, high quality accomm, we are going to book all 3 units for next year.

We didn't like the fact that we'd only booked 3 nights. Wish we'd booked a longer stay.

Location was perfect for our weekend activities which were concerts at Chepstow racecourse. Kitchen was fully equipped, lounge was really cosy and the bedroom was extremely comfortable.

Everything was great except the dividing wall to the next property could have been a little more private so we could sit on the balcony or bbq without hearing neighbours conversation

Nothing. Missing a few basics on our visit, like washing up liquid and shower gel but otherwise well equipped and just what we needed.

Perfect location for seeing friends and family in Gloucestershire and the Welsh valleys. Peaceful with lovely walks around. Found some lovely human and dog friendly pubs too - what's not to like?

Just one little comment There were only main lights and no additional side lamps for a cosy atmosphere in the living room / kitchen area.

Very nice holiday home with an amazing view, Lovely walks nearby and a very good base for walking in Forest of Dean and Wye Valley.. Very friendly hosts and accomodation is clean and well designed. Would like to visit again in the future.

Would have been grateful for instructions on how to use the microwave. We would have liked a small chair in the bathroom, and an additional shelf for toiletries. Also 2 hooks on the door. Luxurious shower!

It was self catered. We found a bottle of milk and some tea bags. The eggs we bought were very tasty. The view was very good. It was tranquil and we had lovely walks with our dog.

Very little to dislike, a LITTLE more contact with host would be nice although easy access via keybox and code was handy. Pizza cutter in kitchen would be useful addition. Sameday repairs would be appreciated (glass shelf in bathroom just needed someone with a screwdriver and 15 minutes spare to resolve slipping shelf issue).

Location for exploring Wye Valley and surrounding area, the view, large bedrooms with ensuite facilities to each bedroom. Modern, well stocked kitchen, good directions sent out by host.

It would have been perfect if there was a small enclosed area for the dogs. There are 3 cottages all next to one another but the gardens are not enclosed. Unfortunately we did not meet our hosts, even though we stayed for 5 nights

Great location and very comfortable accommodation. We had a great walk to Tintern Abbey from the cottage and the instructions and information were very helpful.
