If you want a holiday away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place for you! Total privacy, lovely clean hut, crisp white bedding and towels, fully equipped kitchen, amazing hosts, geat location in the middle of the west coast.

Set in a stunning location. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Lots of walks and beautiful scenery everywhere in this amazing part of the world. The hot tub was an added bonus. Couldn't recommend a better stay up north.

The hosts were fantastic and welcoming. Always on hand if we needed anything also very informative. The hot tub was lovely and the views are incredible, Seals basking in a morning, beautiful glow for sunrise. We were lucky enough to catch the northern lights too. Shower was great, bed comfortable and cooking facilities great. Everything you could need.

Everything. The views in the whole area and on site are amazing, the hut was well equipped and comfortable, the hosts are very helpful and polite so if your looking for a peaceful getaway this is the one.

Everything exceeded our expectations and was fantastic. The hosts were extremely friendly, the location and views were breathtaking, and the hut itself was exceptionally cozy, well-equipped, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed. The hot tub was a delightful and much-welcomed bonus, adding to the overall charm of the place, which ended up being one of the highlights of our trip.

Minor things - An awning over the door would be helpful so that the door could be left open for ventilation. It was quite warm and we had to shut the door as it started raining. A microwave would be useful as we brought some food that needed heating. There is a full sized oven, however.

We arrived to a hot tub that had been heated for us. Kari and Stefan greeted us and were very helpful. The hut is immaculately presented and in a very tranquil location.

Beautiful location with amazing views. The hut was clean, comfortable, luxurious, had everything we needed and done out to a very high standard. Hot tub and BBQ were fantastic. Hosts were very friendly and lovely to talk to. Would definitely recommend and we will return.

Everything! Beautiful area and a perfect stay. Our hosts Kari & Stefan were close enough for any questions but we had total privacy the whole time. The Shepherd Hut was idyllic with lovely little touches and very comfy bed. Best shower ever! Great for a peaceful getaway but also close to good food, coffee and beaches.

If being very picky (and maybe we missed the switch for this!) Having a porch light that can be switched on and off rather than motion-sense would have been nice so that it wouldn't switch on when going in and out of the hot tub at night.

A warm and informative welcome. Jason and Jacqui were friendly hosts who were helpful and accommodating. The hut is set in a fantastic location, so nice and quiet. It is dark enough at night to stargaze and there is a chance to see beautiful sunrises in the morning with views out to the water. The hut itself is a great size, far bigger than others we have stayed in with plenty of storage space which is a bonus! Everything is laid out beautifully with a good selection of plates, cups, utensils and cookware. The oven and induction hob were handy for cooking meals. It was lovely to have been provided with tea and coffee, milk and caramel wavers - a nice wee surprise! The shower is a great size, as is the shower head and the power of water was great too. The hand soap provided was wonderful-smelling as well! The Bluetooth speaker and portable lantern were so useful and made the experience that bit more enjoyable. There is a portable, chargeable fan too which I imagine would be very useful in the Summer time. The best part of our stay was the hot tub - having it all ready for our arrival was fantastic and we hopped right in! So luxurious and relaxing to be able to sit comfortably outside in the Autumn time and enjoy the moonlight and stars. Just wonderful!

Amazing property finished to such a beautiful standard. Great facilities and the location was great, the views from the hot tub were so lovely. Both hosts were so friendly and helpful with amazing recommendations of walks and places to visit. Would definitely recommend for a getaway!

The west coast hideaways are located in the most amazing place! such an incredible view and inside the shepherds hut is just beautiful. Every little thing has been thought of, from the kitchen with every utensil you might need on a weekend away to all the local leaflets and walking guide. There’s an incredible mood light and a mini fan which is perfect for warm nights. How can I not mention the Hot Tub, simply wonderful! Jacqui and Jason are brilliant hosts, so welcoming and helpful.

The hideaways were perfect for switching off from work and enjoying the outdoors. Jason and Jacqui were terrific and made us feel super welcome! The hideaways were super clean, had amazing views, the hot tub was nice and warm for when we arrived and of course could not mention Heiti and Alfred, the super cute sheep! Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful hideaways; we loved every minute and will definitely be back!
