Location was on point ! Lovely set by the farm the woods is beautiful everything was clean , only problem heating only stayed to set level would not go higher are lower I think there should be a choice to the person discretion , the lighting around hot tub was a little pain due to it being a sensensor movement triggered light so if sat for 5mins goes dark nd having to jump up in front to keep on was a pain , but other then them only two things for us was amazing, the setting it self was grate , the farm never bothered us once let us get on with it which makes you feel at home !

The hot tub took around 5 hours to heat up (not sure if this was our fault as we’re fire starter novices)

We were very lucky and grateful to receive a free upgrade from the shepards hut to one of the yurts. The yurt was sensational, excellent facilities, extremely clean and very cosy.

Maybe could do with some plastic glasses for the hot tub?

The hot tub was easy to warm and nice and private. The beds were really cosy and the yurt was lovely and warm! Very well equipped, homely & stylish!

Location is great , easy check in , cosy room with a comfy bed , hot tub was lovely easy to use loved how the pods are on a farm loved seeing the cows opposite.

The Rose Yurt was lovely, seemed a lot bigger on the inside, very tidy and kept warm. Would definitely stay again. My partner and I both really enjoyed the quiet area, it’s secluded and very far away from any noise. Lots of green land and animals to just sit and gaze at. Hot tub was really easy to use and the host was very welcoming when we first arrived.

Hot tube was good but takes 1.5/2 hours to heat up because it uses log fire. Tub wasn’t very clean either

Relaxing place to stay, Very Clean, Peaceful, Hot tub was lovely to chill in, Plenty of Logs left to heat up Hot Tub and Water for Hot tub already in for you, beautiful views, we stayed in Elm Pod.... we ordered Egg's And beef sausages to cook for our breakfast, Everything you need in your own Glamping Pod was there at arm's length!

Tin opener needed replacing but we managed and fed this back to the manager and based upon their responsiveness I am sure this will be now rectified. This did not impact negatively on our stay though and we had a wonderful time - loved every minute. Would absolutely recommend.

Staff excellent. Sorted out issue with shower instantly. Cosy and exceptional views. Ability to travel around Gibside. Staff really friendly. Our second time staying.

that we couldn’t stay there forever! (not in any way related to the property but would recommend getting to grips with starting & maintaining a fire prior to arrival if you’ve not done it before. first time fire starters but we got the hang of it & was well worth it)

We loved everything about our stay here. It was very peaceful & relaxing whilst only being a 15 minute drive to the city center & metro station! We were so gutted to be leaving but are eager to return one day soon.

Didn’t like the fact the toilet was separate to the living accommodation. We had to go outside a few times in the night .

Shepherd hut , was very pretty. Fantastic views . Clean . Had your own garden . Love the should of the sheep, cows and horses .

There was nothing I didn’t like but perhaps rethink the wind chime! It woke us both up in the night (although obviously not your fault that it was so windy!).

The space inside was amazing and how it had been utilised. The hot tub was fabulous, once I’d mastered it (maybe a few more details would have helped) and the shower was great. A gorgeous view as well.

Price felt a little too high considering the location, which was, despite being beautiful, difficult to get anywhere without driving.

Beautiful scenery and lovely pod. Had everything you need including fridge, very powerful shower, TV, comfy bed and beautiful views to wake up to. Hot tub was great once it got heated up. The cows even game over to the fence to say hello as we had our morning dip.
