We really enjoyed our stay at Westwood. The B&B is beautiful with a fantastic view. Judith and Peter are excellent hosts and breakfast was delicious. We found it a great location to explore and relax.

The location is amazing, I can see why there call it the B& B with a view. The owners were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room had everything you would need right down to a shoe horn. The breakfast menu was extensive and served hot. Large communal room with amazing view.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Nothing was too much for our hosts, lovely couple. Attention to every little detail. Room was pure luxury and the views were amazing. as was the extensive breakfast. Will definitely go back over and over again.

The property couldn't have been any more perfect for our trip if it tried. Presented to the highest of standards with superb attention to detail. Photographs simply cannot capture the beauty of the view and the owners were so welcoming and attentive. We look forward to our next visit.

Absolutely beautiful B&B, fabulous view and wonderfully lovely owners. Judith and Peter are so accommodating, cannot do enough for you and the breakfast is so tasty with loads of choice. We had the most amazing time. The room had everything; comfy bed, tv, tea/coffee facilities, towels, bathroom, etc. Everything is so clean and well presented. The location is a 5-7 minute drive away from Cockermouth. Ideally, need a car to get to shops and restaurants but not far away at all. We will definitely be back and look forward to seeing Judith and Peter again, they helped make our trip perfect!

There was nothing we could fault at all. Simply superb place to stay.

We stayed at Westwood to celebrate our 21st Wedding Aniversary, and can't fault anything at all. The location overlooking Skiddaw is magnificent, together with the cleanliness, tasteful decor, fantastic breakfast, and and the warm, friendly welcome from Judith and Peter we can't recommend this place enough.

Can’t fault it

Set in a great location, where you have amazing views, with a short drive to local town. The room and bathroom were impeccable every day, and Judith and Peter were very thoughtful, with nice touches daily. The breakfast they offered was as if we were in a a la carte restaurant, prepared with local and organic produce, beautifully presented each day, with lots of choices and extraordinary views from the breakfast table. We felt that Judith and Peter wanted to make our stay extra special, and they even helped arrange a surprise for my husband’s birthday. With all this, it showed how much Judith and Peter care about their guests, making it possible to have an amazing experience.

No fault of the BnB itself, although beautiful scenery the local village has little to offer in terms of opportunities to eat out. Although it is just a short drive into cockermouth which has some nice restaurants.

Very warm welcome, and a fantastic breakfast made every morning, very customisable to your preference. Beautiful view to eat breakfast to or relax in an evening with. The rooms themselves are very clean and comfortable with complementary hot drinks and shower products. I'd highly recommend this stay to anyone.
