Absolutely nothing!

The lodge was absolutely beautiful, clean & just all around perfect. We came for my partners birthday and loved it. Spacious, decorated to a very high standard. Bed was very comfortable, both bathrooms were lovely! We loved the choice of the freestanding bath or the big walk in shower. The hot tub provided a fantastic way to unwind after a busy day and the lake views were mesmerising at sunset. We met the owner Paul who arrived with slippers for us both! Hosts were really lovely, both very helpful. 10/10 ☺️

The pics don't do this place justice . It is comfortable, very clean, has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The communication with the host was excellent . The place was warm when we arrived and the hottub was ready to jump in to . Overall this place is just amazing . We hope to stay gain sometime oh and bottle of bubbly was left for us lovely touch .the best place we have stayed . The view over the lake was great .Thank you .

The one thing I didn’t like was there’s not enough security on-site. We had all our Christmas presents stolen from the back of our car 2 nights before Christmas. The Same happened to 3 other cars the same night. This is in no way a reflection of the lodge or the person who owns it. Just the site it’s on as there was no cameras near the lodge and the sites open to the public as there’s a public foot path making it easier for people to commit these sorts of crimes.

The property was modern, squeaky clean, had all the things you would want and more. Loads of little touches. Very nice indeed

Getting the Park passes was a bit of a muck about, especially when you did not know how much they were per person. Turned out it was per caravan , so a bit steep as £80 per caravan. Which for us was 2 adults and a 8 month old child for 4 days. This was more complex as you could not register to the resort as you were not a holiday home owner or a guest who has gone through the park for your holiday. As we went mid October a lot of the park facilities had already closed for the winter, such as Lido, Arial walk way, bike hire etc.

Breakfast was not included, the location was a little way from the park centre, but right on a lake and peaceful location. We know there would be Typhoon fighter jets taking off during working hours as we are adjacent to the local RAF base. This for me was excellent as an avid plane spotter.

We have stopped in the VIP Lodge twice now. Spotlessly clean, kitted out with everything you need and more, super location with a hot tub overlooking the lake, plenty of outdoor furniture, Meet and greet on both visits very welcoming and professional. Welcome gifts of chocolates 🍫 biscuits and prosecco 🍾. Close to amenities and a nice walk along the river into the village. 🐕 🐕 had a lovely time aswell 😍

Liked everything! Just so beautifuland great value .I do however think the dishwasher needs looking at though as things weren't getting clean.but it's fine we just hand washed in the end .

This is our 2nd visit here.we love it .The location is beautiful, and so is the decor. Nice and spacious, too.

There is nothing not to like! The lodge is amazing.

Lots of space and very clean. Everything you could possibly need is provided. The lodge was clean and modern and smelt amazing on arrival. There is lots of space and has all little touches to make the stay more enjoyable. Communication was great also! Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely look to return again in the future.

The lodge was nothing like we’ve ever stayed in before, it was beautiful and had lots of space! The lodge had all the utensils and equipment you needed along with towels in the bathroom which I didn’t realise was provided! They even left a bottle of Prosecco and a Milk Tray which was a nice touch. The hot tub was lovely especially in the evenings with a view of the lake. Would definitely book again.

unfortunately there was an ants nest this time and our cases ended up full of ants, also we have a few bites from the ants with it being in the main bedroom under the right bedside cabinet. The toilet seat that was broken again because the seats are too small for the toilet its self. The hot tub wasn't fully cleaned when arrived, there was hair plastic ice poll rappers, and all bits init. However the owner him self to this lodge is really friendly and we will return once again as its always a nice stay minus the few problems this year we no they will get on top of that.

We have been and stayed twice now at this lodge it is beautiful we love it its very homely and beautiful location
