We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomNo meet and greet. Poor instructions on working heating. Cleaner returned and found boiler was turned off. Decking area too crowded with furniture and not well presented. Read in guest book about how helpful AJ was. She would have come in handy at times. Arrangement re deposit was misunderstood by cleaner. Was told she would return the cash. Cleaner said owner would pay it back via the bank. I insisted we stuck to original agreement which we did. Despite supplies in kitchen tea coffee etc which we didn’t expect there was no spare toilet rolls which we did expect. I asked cleaner why there wasn’t spare rolls she said I should have messaged her. Sorry no there was a lovely drawer in en-suite which should have had spare rolls. Not owners fault but facilitates that we paid for were poor. Out of our 4 days the adult only bar was closed 3. Walked to chippy Tuesday to find it had closed for 2 days. Total waste of money.
Comfortable and warm. Beautifully furnished. Also every room was clean and smelled very nice.

United KingdomThe jacuzzi wasn't working a gent had a look at it for us that went round the neighbour's and said it was the pump motors gone or something my aunty has a big one and she could work it and we didn't get to enjoy the full works of the jacuzzi.
The cleanest lodge we have stayed in at tattershall lakes honestly was so lovely and really looked after thankyou for letting us enjoy our stay being in ur luxury lodge

United KingdomThe utensils were blunt, freezer wasn't defrosted, gas on the BBQ was really low. As before it's the little things. I've stayed at other lodges not VIP all had a welcome.pack. When I stripped the bedding it was all stained, not very covid safe...
Just the small things when we arrived.....no essentials that people may forget Foil, cling flim, other things too.

United KingdomWe were left no bedding for the sofa bed even though I had booked for 5 people so needed to use it. The toilet seat in the shared bathroom was not attached so it was quite tricky to use. The showers, although great for me, we’re far too hot for the kids to use and weren’t able to be turned down at all, even when on the coldest setting. The tv in the kids room had no batteries in the remote control. The tv in the main bedroom would not tune into anything, I had taken my fire stick with me but that wouldn’t work as it was too far away from the internet to connect, so both tv’s in the bedrooms were unusable. The cooking pots and pans and trays were not clean and had to be washed before using. The sofa bed - which we had to use with a blanket and one of the pillows from one of the other beds, unfortunately smelled very strongly of urine which was really unpleasant. It got a bit chilly at times and I was unable to work out how to turn the heating on / up and the electric fire wouldn’t work. Lastly, as I mentioned to the owner already, the ‘Welcome lady’ didn’t come until lunchtime on the Wednesday when we had arrived at 1pm on Monday. It’s a good job I had managed to work out how to use everything myself. Also, we couldn’t book any swimming because we didn’t know that you had to do this in the weeks before you even arrived and the slots were all fully booked.
On the surface it looked Wow, the furnishings were all my taste, the position of the lodge on the lake was great with its stunning views.

mostly clean and comfortable however cleaners dis not clean outside or empty ashtrays from previous guests also lots of cobwebs and spiders above head
