I could not think of anything extra you would need to stay here

This was one of the best bed and breakfast places i have stayed at friendly people and a nice clean room with everything there you could want even two bottles of wine and bottled water also a lovely breakfast wish it was closer to where we live and would come to stay again.

Unfortunately a change in our plans meant we didn't get to have breakfast. Our hosts were obviously in no way to blame for this and I only mention it as I am sure the breakfast would have been as enjoyable as everything else.

From the moment we arrived to a wonderful and warm welcome from Jackie, we felt almost at home. Jackie and Rob are brilliant hosts. We were very comfortable, in a lovely setting and with every facility we needed. The breakfast was absolutely superb. Great quality ingredients, perfectly cooked and superbly served by Rob.

Found the bed far too firm for us, but everything else was perfect, definitely worth the money

A very friendly welcome made us feel at home, complimentary wine and homemade cake in our room, which was a lovely gesture. I also loved the fact that we had fresh milk in our room instead of those rubbish milk pots. A beautiful cooked breakfast in the morning. We would definitely stay again in the perfect location for what we needed, peaceful and quiet, no road noise at all.

A traditional, cozy B&B. The room was comfortable and there were many extras that we didn’t expect (a yummy piece of cake, small bottle of wine, great selection of teas). The owners of the B&B were great! You can tell that their heart is in running their lovely little place and they care about their guests. The breakfast spread was of exceptional quality and there was so much choice. Sadly my husband and I couldn’t enjoy it to the full because we weren’t well on the day, but everything looked delicious and we loved having breakfast at the same table with other guests. We can thoroughly recommend White Cottage B&B and would love to come again.

What did I like? Everything, that simple. I received not only a really warm welcome, I also found homemade cake in my room, such a treat. I also wanted to take the bed home with me as I had such a good night's sleep. The perfect hosts and a beautiful place to stay.

White Cottage is a lovely hidden gem. Jackie and Rob are incredible hosts making you feel relaxed and comfortable as soon as you meet them. We felt like we’d known them for years after the first day. The facilities are excellent and our every wish was catered for, even down to Rob helping us with a flat tyre on a very cold evening and Jackie ringing the local pub to ensure we didn’t loose our table for dinner. Fabulous breakfast too! And great cake! Thanks for a lovely stay. We’ll be back.

The couple running the house were so lovely. Cake on arrival was an added bonus and the breakfast was one of the best I've ever had in a bnb/hotel. Would definitely go back!

Another lovely stay at Rob & Jackie's beautiful cottage. Lovely surroundings with a really cosy home away from home feel. I have now stayed in both rooms and both are very spacious, clean, warm and really peaceful. The added touch of wine and Jackie's legendary cake slices is always a real treat. I had everything I needed and more. The breakfast is superb and nothing is too much. I look forward to staying again!
