Apart from checking in, we didn’t go in any other part of the hotel or eat/drink there. The main part is a bit tired but our room was really stylish and smartly decorated with a great bathroom

Very comfortable and good sized room considering the price we paid. Good location in the town and the hotel has a decent car park. Breakfast was reasonably priced and there was a good choice. The staff were lovely. We felt our stay was very good value for money and will happily stay again.

I must admit if we hadn't booked to stay, probably would have gone somewhere else. The exterior is looking very tired and tatty. Not like the picture shown when booked. The pub could do with a little bit of TLC too. Stained seats, some uncomfortable chairs. We did have a slight problem when ordering our meal but the manager was very good and sorted it out for us, thank you.

Our rooms were lovely. Very clean. Looked like they had not long been refurbished. Bed was comfortable. Ate here on the evening and all 7 of us had a good meal. Big choice on the menu. We all had a breakfast which again was very nice.

The bathroom could be a little bigger, but otherwise fine, good shower. It was somewhat let down by the restaurant. (Dinner table was sticky and food perfectly adequate but uninspiring). Breakfast was better. Not expensive though and the beer was good.

The walls are a bit thin between rooms and floors are creaky, but we understand this as it's an old property. We unfortunately were woken in the night by someone snoring in the next room! We were a bit confused by the pub...we stayed on a Tuesday night and decided to get dinner in the pub. My husband went to the bar to order drinks and food. He was told that the kitchen was overwhelmed and we would have to wait 10 minutes to order food. There was probably 20 people max in the entire pub, and we saw 3 or 4 tables only with food. We waited a bit, but decided to just go down the road for a kebab. The young man working behind the bar seemed very nervous, and as we were leaving he was literally running to a table and almost crashed into me! Unfortunately they lost out on our dinner order because they couldn't accommodate us!

The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff member who checked us in was very helpful and knowledgable. It's a great location, and parking was easy as well. We only stayed one night but were happy with our room.

The wifi is the O2 free wifi which I had issues accessing as an out of country visitor without a cell phone number that could be used in the UK. I could access it sometimes but other times I had reached my non-cell phone access code limit for 24hrs which was frustrating. It being a public wifi also isn't great for security. A mini-fridge in the family rooms would be very useful.

The room was clean and comfortable, lots of hot water and great water pressure, large towels which was great. The food at the pub was great and well priced and the staff super friendly. There are multiple stores including a super market and pharmacy within a 1min walk which was fantastic. The hotel is also very secure with multiple scan-in access points which was great.

Can't fault it for the money.

My bed was big the same as I have at home so I slept very well. I did think that the rooms had very thin walls with very narrow hallways and that I'd hear people all night but that wasn't the case. I was very happy with my stay and I had a very nice meal in he pub.
