Food and drink was disaster,, when spoke to the manager his responce was really, nothing else ,, not a care in the world except to look at the bill to make sure he charged for everything

Dinner was included in the stay, kitchen was under pressure table was booked at 7.45.. No orders were being taken for 45 mins.. Then supplimemt charges applied for certain mains.. Which wasn't highlighted on the menu clearly.

the only thing that let the trip down for us was our afternoon tea we had booked. we were sat waiting for an hour, therefore affecting our spa booking for 4pm and had to also change this. the food looked threw together and was brought out separately, not all on the tower. In the room unfortunately we couldn’t get the heat turned down and was very warm all night, keeping me awake for most of the night. we opened the windows but the radiator in the bathroom was so hot.

we’ve stayed 3 times previously, this was our fourth and it was gorgeous as always. the executive twin was outstanding!

it was to far out so spent a Lot on taxis Pool area could do with a makeover definitely needs painting showers in th changing rooms clean but drains must be blocked bad smell

I did not like the location (beside dual carriageway). I was mislead through booking.com/ hotel that I would receive a bottle of wine on arrival as a gift for my partners birthday and our anniversary. We did not receive this and when I asked the front desk they told me I was misinformed.

The staff on front desk were very polite and friendly. The restaurant had amazing food.

it’s out on an A road, so can’t walk to the pub or anywhere, but the hotel was a nice place to spend the evening.

really nice place, rooms decent, bar and restaurant really nicely furnished and fitted. staff were nice and friendly. great food in the restaurant and lovely breakfast.

Pool was cold.

The room was beautiful. No toilet roll in the toilets at reception Drink wasn't mixed properly but management happily changed it. Staff slow at bar area. Very young lad, left to deal with a queue. Dinner was slow , but beautiful. Breakfast was amazing. Staff were a bit unfriendly @ breakfast. Lovely decor & the entertainment wasn't the best. Young lad singing,too long in between songs , seating was limited.dark & sat behind a wall with a cut out circle. Second visit to the hotel. Will go back again.

Bathroom had no light. We had an extra bed in the room. This left the room small, but compact. I had a cold shower this morning. Wouldn't have stayed for 2 nights with these issues

We as a family felt that the pool could have been slightly warmer. We had quite a few children with us who couldn’t stay in overly long due to it being cold. We also thought the light bites could be offered at dinner time as well as lunch or a few lighter options on the main menu as the food was beautiful but the portions on the dinner menu where quite large for people with a smaller appetite.

We found the hotel lovely and cosy. It was not too busy and everyone was extremely friendly and helpful.

Musty smell in reception area

Staff were brilliant and so friendly ... Especially restaurant waiters and waitresses. Excellent food. Very clean hotel in all areas.
