The property is very well decorated and in a great location. The staff were fantastic and the breakfast incredible.

The bath was lovely but we did miss having a shower. We weren't guaranteed a breakfast table. The Bakery is understandably very busy during the day.

The Whoopy room was lovely, modern and charming with lounge area, very comfortable bed and roll top bath. Tea and coffee machine and toiletries added to the luxury feel. Breakfasts were amazing. Can recommend the bacon special breakfast with halloumi. Apparently you can pre order a box of cakes for your room. Very sad to see that they were all tucked away safely overnight 😀. Great location on High Street.

noise transference. could hear other guests moving in their rooms it's an older building and staff / customers when opening up in the morning etc it's a bakery cafe so I guess to be expected.

The floorboards in the room were squeeky and uneven. There was also no shower, only a bath

What I didn't like was having to leave.

A perfect blend of old character meeting new charm. Our Room (Roly Poly) had a nice view and was more than enough room for the 2 of us. We had 2 great nights of sleep and exceptional breakfasts. The food was full of flavor and presented beautifully along with a hot AND cold drink all included in the price. The takeaway counter has a great selection of pastries and sweets treats which I could have spent a good 30 minutes just gazing at. Before arriving I messaged The Whitehouse and they were very helpful and provided myself with excellent recommendations for evening meals which were The Fig and The Standard Inn. The Whitehouse Rye and thier staff are excellent and I would recommend anyone to stay here

I would have liked a shower in my room (as well as the bath). Probably my fault for not reading details closely and making an assumption.

The rom was clean, spacious and light filled. Breakfast was awesome.

The breakfast was excellent and such good value to be included in the room price. We were able to check in early which was a bonus, it's great that the rooms are all dog friendly and it was lovely looking out across the rooftops from our windows in the morning. The room had everything we needed.

Clean bright double fronted room over looking the high street. Nice cotton sheets and towels. Shower products are good. Breakfast was fantastic, especially if you like something a little different from the usual.

The White House is situated conveniently in Rye High Street. Parking is very reasonably priced and is closeby. The room was very clean and bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was fresh with plenty of options to choose from

Perfect location for exploring Rye. We stayed in Whoopie, the lovely attic room which felt tucked away and private. It had the most beautiful bath and lounge area. The bed was comfy and it was so quiet despite being on the high street. The breakfast was amazing and great value as you can get a main, coffee and juice and smoothie included.
