It can be quite noisy from the road traffic at the front (double glazing might help), rooms at the rear suffer from the noise of the refrigeration unit in the car park that cools the beer

Convenient, good location, great value, has improved with refurbishment over the years I’ve been coming to Bala and staying.

Nothing much about the hotel. It's perhaps more reasonably priced than some other places in North Wales because Bala is a bit off the main tourist areas, but if you have a car it's very easy to get to places. The town had a lack of places to eat in the evening, this hotel and another were so busy by 7pm one night they couldn't cope with any more orders and even the chippy closed at 7.30!

Hotel was clean and comfortable, spacious room, good shower. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were great. There's a small car park round the back but when that was full we easily found a space on the road nearby. Would definitely stay here again.

Only 1 channel on the tv worked the rest was pixelated. It was about 7.15 pm when we arrived and the kitchen had run out of ingredients and so we couldn’t have supper. Judging by the breakfast I think the dinner would have been good..no bath tub

The breakfast was wonderful. Very good quality ingredients and beautifully cooked and presented. The waitress was very pleasant and helpful.very courteous.

Noisy people coming out of the pub opposite at the early hours of the morning.

Our room had a small high loft style window so no view. However that was just where our room was situated. Hotel is on the high street and being bank holiday there was street noise and a loud club going on until around 3am on the sunday night. No fault of the hotel.

Location for high street and lakes is perfect. Nice big clean room. Great shower lovely fluffy towels and linen. Great breakfast choices. Staff friendly.

The kitchen closed a little too early. The room could have been cleaner buts thats being picky. The beds where not very comfortable.

Staff where friendly and welcoming, breakfast was really nice and they offered information on where to get food when the kitchen was closed.

The hotel has a nice quiet beer garden and the food on offer was very good. The village has a lot to offer. The breakfast was very good, there was coffee from a fully automatic machine, the first hotel on my Wales round trip where I could also enjoy a delicious cappocino for breakfast

Not s major issue, but some of the door hinges need a squirt of WD40 as a few of the doors squeak, which could disturb early light sleepers.

Great location in the centre of Bala. Very friendly and efficient staff. Good standard pub grub menu, which was well cooked. A couple of well kept cask ales on. The room was spacious clean and very comfortable. A well appointed bathroom. A very good continental buffet breakfast, followed by a choice of a cooked breakfast.

The beer selection in the bar was a bit poor considering the location and the fantastic local breweries.

Nobody's fault, but they could do with a larger car park, but plenty of parking on the road behind hotel.

Lovely room, Spacious with a lovely bathroom & big screen TV. Excellent breakfast. Food served at the bar is very good. Staff very friendly. Perfect location for exploring North Wales.
