This was our 4th visit to the hotel so you know we like it but this time we stayed in a older part of the hotel. It was roomy and quiet as we were at the rear but that meant it was dark. It had creaky floor board. The bathroom needed a revamp. It was slightly damp smelling too.

Thhe Location on the seafront and central is wonderful. Staff are very good. Lovely breakfasts.and in the modern part of the hotel fab bathrooms. Some parking at the hotel otherwise voucher for local car park. Bonus next door to a theatre.

Would like less stairs. We were on the third floor and the passages were very narrow.

Very good breakfast to start each day and food was available through out the day to meet our needs.

Bath had hairs in it, presumably from last person using it! Hairdryer brilliant but had hair from other users. Reception and corridors scruffy and drab. Soap not replaced when requested.

Wonderful location. Friendly staff. Great sea view. I really liked the terrace at the front of the hotel. Lovely for sitting out to have breakfast or a drink in the evening

Unfortunately on our visit the main lift was out of order and we had to use the small service lift. The evening menu was very limited for choice, and the food was just about Ok. The biggest down side was the noise from the main road out side our window, which was deafening at lot of the time so we slept with the doors and windows closed, a shame really as this will deter us from returning.

It was clean and tidy although could do with. Little TLC in places. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating.

We like Hastings. But we do like this hotel good price friendly staff.. breakfast was very good. We did stay for dinner one night food was excellent.

Shower wasn't very good more like a drizzle Bath Towels too small would just fit a child Disappointed with the cooked breakfast asked for poached eggs they came out over done and not runny and the toast was cold and like chewing cardboard.

Could not fault the sea view room, lots of traffic but we didnt mind cant have it all and location good. Dog friendly which is a bonus would stay again 100%

unfortunately when i was there both lifts broke which was a bit of a nightmare. they got them fixed quite quickly but for a while there were no lifts available which was a bit of a struggle.

Staff were lovely - all very friendly and welcoming. Also, hotel very dog friendly which was great for me. Bed nice and comfortable.

The blind in our room was broken and couldn’t be lifted to let in the light, and to take advantage of the sea view. Some of the items on the dining menu seemed a bit dry and could be improved by adding a sauce; e.g. confit duck leg would benefit from a duck gravy, or a Sharp and fruity sauce (maybe orange, cherry or plum?)

Seafront location. Cheerful and helpful staff. Decent breakfast choices, even though I always chose the same cooked breakfast. Comfortable sized room, with a well equipped bathroom. Bar included a few local ales and ciders.

I think they have lots of inexperienced staff who require more supervision than they appear to get. Glasses remained on the tables after people had left while staff chatted and meals did not always come out at the same time.

Location was excellent. Love the fact that the hotel is dog friendly. The room was very clean and spacious.
