How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Toilet and shower facilities are a bit cramped, and sound from other rooms can get a bit loud. However for the price I didn't have much to dislike about.
Clean and comfortable enough for the price. Not too far from city center and train is just a short walk away.

The shower in the bathroom was not working at all, which was really disappointing!
The host was helpful and was flexible with check-in and check out times.

First thing this unit was a duplex unit plus on 3th floor entrance also small. So super inconvenience for us who bring big luggage. Furthermore, the Wi-Fi is the main issue as no indicate at anywhere and we unable to connect to it. Second, the bed comforter quite small for the cold weather. Thirdly, no proper maintenance on the water heater and cleanliness on bathroom cause us not very annoying. Next , The TV totally useless as very limited access and power plus quite less for us to use. Lastly , The toilet is upstairs' and the floor on wood made so very noisy. furthermore, i believe asian people may reconsider as that area quite less local british people and asian people stay.
The best thing i can says is the bed still ok to sleep and key to lock room.

Atmosphere
Location is not bad as it was not too far from the station and close to the bus stop.Comfortable,clean and much cheaper compared with the level of the hospitality provided..

There are a few things that could be improved. The bathtub could be cleaner, the shower curtains, same, toilette. It just takes a little effort to make everything look nicer. The carpets need to be clean, too.
It's a fair offer for the price you pay. Bed and sheets were clean.

If you're not looking for luxury and accept minimum viable accommodation, this is for you. It's well located, clean, comfortbable and very affordable. A plus, the landlord is very nice.

It is true that it was not the most clean. The room floor was a bit dusty but I think the worst was the bathroom. Leaving a rug mat in such a small water room is a bad idea. It ends up being soaked all the time and it can become quickly a veritable nest for bacteria. It's not really hygienic. I tried to spend the least amount of time in the bathroom. Bring some slippers if you can cause walking barefoot on this mat was really torturous. As a suggestion I would recommend investing in plastic mat or mat that can dry off easily, or simply not using a mat so that the floor can dry off naturally. :) The rest of the facilities were pretty limited : a bathroom, a toilet and a small kitchen. Totally enough for a short stay of visit like ours, but might be too limited for longer ones
The host was incredibly flexible and reachable and we were nicely welcomed. The beds were comfortable and the bedroom was overall nice. The location is a bit far off center but it is well served by two metro stations nearby with good lines connection Very great value for money overall Thanks for hosting us and for allowing an early check in!

It wasn't clear in booking what I saw at the location. There must be 2 bathrooms but there only one which one not comfortable for anyone.

Nothing, its just not a place, it's a flats with bed rooms and you had to leave your room to go to the toilet and shower mould every where, noise constantly, smells off spice foods and kitchen was ruff and when comming home at night never felt safe, was surprised it was on your page, post code wrong on your page as well

It could have been cleaner, especially the mold at the window frame or the bathroom cealing.
The host was very friendly and the check-in and check-out was easy. The location was great considering the price I’ve paid. I felt safe coming home late at night after I’ve been to a concert.

I stayed whites inn it was very good environment clean and tidy everything was good. Location is very close to everything shops station and staff very helpful. Overall it was nice to stay there
